Description This song is a Taoist, indie rock/weird dance song. I've been fooling around with it for a while, let me know what you think.
Lyrics Water

Blows me away, how you look in emerald dress, it does,
and the way that your love as blinding as the sun,
This ain't just love, it's something more, and knocks me to the floor,
Flows like water, yes it does, as I breathe you in because
This ain't no drug, though it turns me loops every time that I think of
You on my back in the rain and we were so drunk

I could rant on how you hurt me, but would it do me good?
When I needed love, I needed it from you.
There might not be stars above, and the Gods are just
Projections of our fears so we all can feel loved.

Try to endure, feet on the floor, the feeling that I want more
But it's only my mind that's a slave to the things you've said and done
I've got to be pure, I've got to be so pure, I want to be so pure that
The world could fall upon me and I wouldn't breath at all

You who've dealt with so much pain, but baby can't you see?
If you needed love you could have come to me.
There might not be Gods above, and the stars are just some
Age-old photographs but when I'm lonely they're all I can think of.

Empty all of this, experience, try to melt into the sea,
What's holding me down, well it ain't the ground, but it's got a hold of me,
Body and mind, I'll leave behind, and I'll become like air,
Rise up later without care, cause I wasn't ever there.
If you don't understand, why I can't fight, why my voice is calm and light,
I'll just say that things of this world soon must fade away.

There are times when one is must fight, times when one must flee,
Be like water and just flow gently,
There might not be stars above, and the gods are
Just projections of our fear so we all can feel loved
I'm trying to be like water

And there might not be gods above, and the stars are just some
Age old photographs but when I'm lonely they're all I can think of
Just like water

And though it's not the path that most choose, at least I know that I can't lose
I've got to be pure, I want to be pure, but I'm trying oh so hard
Believe me, cause I'm trying I'm trying oh so hard
to be like water

I'm trying to be pure, and so I mustn't breathe at all,

This is a great song...
...nice and smooth. Nice dreamy feel. Love the lyrics. My only compaints is the levels are a little soft, especially the vocals. In some parts they are lost entirely. These are definately vocals worth hearing and you have a nice voice with which to deliver them.

Hey. I'll check the levels again, the vocals sound low without my headphones
(because all of the instruments are stereo) but I'll boost them up in my next
version anyway. Thanks for listening, and check out "At the End of the Day," if
you liked this one, it's got similar feel.

"At the End of the Day" has been one of my favorites for a while. Another
really great song.

I like the piano in the background. The stars as age-old photographers is such a cool image. Again, I can't get over the voice. I don't like the rushed feel of this song.
