Description Instruments created entirely with the garageband pen tool except for drum loops, engine revs, and police siren. Lyrics mine. Vocals me.
Lyrics Drivin’ down the road on my way to you.
I’m drivin’ down the road nothing more to do.
I’m drivin’ down the road in hopes to find you soon.
Yes, I’m driving down the road, the sun’s at high noon.

and when I see your face, I’ll kiss you on your lips.
I’m drivin’ down the road in a state of bliss.

Drivin’ down the road on my way to you.
I’m drivin’ down the road nothing more to do.
I’m drivin’ down the road in hopes to find you soon.
Yes, I’m drivin’ down the road, the sun’s at high noon.

and when I see your face, I’ll kiss you on your lips.
I’m drivin’ down the road in a state of bliss.

Drivin’ down the road on my way to you.
I’m driving down the road nothing more to do.
I see the state patrol , not much can he do.
cause I’m drivin’ down the road on my way to you.

Great pen tool jockey work
Cool use of the pen tool to create the song. Cool lyrics. Maybe beef up the bottom end with a really heavy bass riff. Thanks for posting!

Droning...
The repetition in this song is really effective in portraying
the 'driving down the road' and trying to get- somewhere-
fast you're singing about.

Well done! :)

Great work
As usual you've put forth a very solid composition.
Production and performance are stellar. You've got a cool
signature sound. I always look forward to hear your latest tunes. Rock on!

PS. is that pic from the 1968 Steve McQueen movie Bullit?

Great work
You are correct! The car is from the Steve McQueen movie

Is that right?

Fun detour
This is a nice jerky, bouncy little tune....I am not sure the
driver is having fun though...sounds ever more
exasperated...and now the cops are after him?? This has a
nice 80's pop feel, like the panning on the guitar bits

Cool Tune
Good ,'80's pop feel, good vocals, kudos for using pencil
tool and not having it sound too mechanical.

Mustang music
What a unique sound, very cool groove. Altho I did end up
wanting more variations in the sound by the end. Weren't
Mustangs great! I learned how to drive in one. Vocals
seem a tad soft when you sing lower in your range,
especially. feel like this track could be really great with
more variations to the sound in different stanzas.

Mustang music
Thanks for your input and comment. It was my intention to have my voice barely heard in the middle of the song (like one kind of singing along to the radio), but maybe that effect didn't work!? Also had a terrible sore throat when I recorded this and used the last of the voice I had. Some day I will have to revise it.

Rock On®

Cruisin'......for sure!
Breezer...............This I liked. As I listen I am taken back to the days of true crusin'.........Is there any chance you may someday tour?

Keep up the tuneage!

This song sounds like a muscle car.
And the way you've produced the vocals makes it sound like the radio in the car. Great work..especially with the PEN! I still can't believe that.

overdriving down the road.
very unique sound and style. kind of video-game-esque.
this song has a hypnotic quality about it, much the same
way highway driving has. i agree with Tobin though about
something changing later in the tune. Kick it into
OVERDRIVE!

enjoyed listening. thanks for posting.

STOP DRIVING YOUR BEING PULLED OVER!
Reminds me of he band The Cars! Great sound! Needs more bass though maybe with alot of chorus on it and maybe turn up the vocals a little! Love the panning guitar!

i am driving too
cool little tune mister b.

i would sound really killer with some nice and loud
heavy guitar.
good tune though.

Pretty cool song...
...the bouncy notes paired with the heavier guitar
along with the use of effects and the overall sound of
this tune is unique and compelling. I do think it
needs a little more production work. The vocals
sound too pushed back and there could have been a
little more variety in the sections (to agree with
Tobin). With a little more work, this could be a really
great song!

Very cool
Ideal for cruisin'!
It could've used a bit more variation, but I really didn't mind.
Nice production and a very cool groove.
Nice!
