Description A harmonic cacaphony of dissonant excess.
Lyrics When you are born into this life
You start to cry but you don't lie
A brand new thing of innocence
And no one knows just when it goes

And your life starts changing so fast
With deadlines that just can't wait
That before you even realize
You're just lost in the American dream

The things we do to each other are bad, so sad
The way we treat each other, it's a shame who's to blame
And we tried to solve the mystery of living in harmony, but the only thing we managed to find is that we're lost in the American dream

Deadlines that just can't wait?
Now you've touched a nerve... Something different,
bronco. Your voice is great on this... can actually go down
a notch this time! Big buzz on one track, but I'm sure you
know about that. I like the dreamy, hypnotic feel to it.
Beautiful licks as always, but there's a lot of plucking
goign on in there. The parts are fighting each other a
little, and that takes away from the arching melody a bit. I
think the simpler, spooky organ? sound works nicely
though.

Yeah I know, as a recording this sucked. It's one of those I was going to
rerecord and have been too lazy to do. Finally got tired of looking at it and
put it out there. I think if I write another verse and perhaps a bridge and only
have one guitar instead of two it might be a great song. I do really like the
words I have so far!

bronco plays with toys
Never heard so many effects in a bronco tune. Almost New Age. World without end. Seriously, though, this is a nice piece. Nice groove toward the end. The synth flute seems to work for me sometimes and others, not sure. You are branching out, Tom. Nice job. This has a nice atmosphere.

I think it's a good two-guitar piece. Might try a version without all the toys. or at least without the synth.

nice tune Mr. B,
maybe you should turn the vox down a tad.
like the guitar sound and your voice is great
for this song. I would take some time and
re-mix the song, just my opinion though.

cheers

Thanks kachoolik!! I knew this one had problems. The vocal and guitars were
from an earlier cassette recording and were imported in as one track so
remixing is not an option. It will take a whole new recording which I do intend
to get around to one of these days.
