Description Careful, it's noisy! This is kind of a part 2 to "Clockwork". The first song dealt with the mindset of Alex before conditioning as this one deals with after... angry, painful, and trapped inside. Featuring the sharp cut of chikoppi's guitar! Turn it up!... unless you don't want to get the neighbors angry. :P
Lyrics So you've got me,
You're suppressing me.
Strap my body down
Take my liberty.

Horror on the screen,
Only thing I see.
I can't look away.
It's disturbing me.

Can't shut my eyes,
My aggression dies,
Locked inside of me.
It's no longer mine.

I was once a man,
Full of energy.
Now a frail ghost
Take control of me.

You take my pleasure away, the only thing you can tame,
Can't go the distance, but still have the need.

Beat me to the ground,
Turn my life around.
What I used to be
Is no longer found.

I was once a God,
Now, you've shut me off.
Led a pack of wolves.
Now the pack is lost.

Am I really that bad, Certifiably mad
I only want to have everything I see.

Purge me of my life.
Make me not a knight
of the violence.
And you think it's right.

Pull the torch away,
Take my will to play,
Lock the hate in me
Take away my cane.

Cut me off from it,
Every little bit,
When you're through with me,
I won't give a shit.

Strip me from my fame.
You think it's humane,
I will watch you take
Pleasure in my pain.

The ultra-violence is gone, I'm nothing now but a pawn.
You throw me naked into the world of greed.

Shut up and take control of me.
You can take control of me.

Trembling with power
This is a great track Packo. I love how you mixed this
(well, love all your mixes). This has energy....which flows
from the panning intro clear thru those harsh vocals.....it's
pumped! The guitar riffs are perfect in this. You've nailed
it! Fabulous job.....big gold stars from me dude!

UncleSamwich said 1418 days ago
Uh huh.
Loved it. Gonna vote on it.

it had the drive. Rocked out to the thick synth solo/
speed drumming at the end. Very thick textures.
Tasteful choices of tones. The divebombing with the
tremolo was sweet.
The vocals- Powerful, sizzling and raw. At times the
levels and freq's were scorching my ears almost a
little too much. Too much of a good thing, if you
catch my drift. A few nudges of eq and gain here and
there and this song is top shyza.

results= my first downloaded tune. 9-7-9-9

production = 5 performance = 8 average 7

Thanks.

excellent
This rocks harder that anything I've heard on MJ. Great intesity and control. Your vocals are rippingly excellent and Chikoppi's guitar solo is inventive and skillfully belted out. Solid production all around.

Outstanding!! Wanted a tad more on the vocals so that's
why the 8 on Production but it's still a killer track. Great
collab!!!

I may be a little pop princess, but even I can recognize that THIS ROCKS!!

What this really needs is a sax solo
(Just kidding, Pack) Great, rollicking, crackling explosion
of a song.

UncleSamwich said 1418 days ago
What this really needs is a sax solo
LOL.

Needs some midi accordian or clarinet sounds, nice and high in the mix.

(BTW, just listened again...still love it.)

You gonna eat that?

crackling high energy
This piece is such high energy that listening to it has
reduced me to a quivering pulp of plasma, capable of
uttering only one-syllable words like "WOW!" "KEWL!" to
describe this piece. (j/k)

Now that I've recovered somewhat.....

The concept, the performance, the production values are
all excellent here, and the end-result is very coherent and
straight-ahead. This is a very powerfully convincing track.

The quick side-to-side panning at the very beginning
almost reminded me of some "hemi-sync" tapes designed
to balance the L/R sides of the brain. I liked the way you
gradually faded and blended it into the song as it
progressed.

The distorted effects on your vocals work well in this tune.
The lyrics and musical material are hand-in-glove.

Drums and guitar (great playing, Chikoppi!) are also
expertly mixed into the whole.

I sure hope that this reaches a wider audience. It seriously
rocks!

tightly wound agression
This reminded me of the time I met my wife... we
were at a club... I got her a drink of water... I think
ministry was playing in the background... or was it
nine inch nails? No matter... good sound mix and
energetic performance!

Dangerous factory
This is smokin' Industrial. Nice panning. Way to move that
machinery. You're in control with Logic Express. Hydraulic
blowout!

SlimGirlFat said 1417 days ago
Slick Production
From the panning intro straight into a hard and fast
moving rythym, this track really doesn't let ones
attention go until the very end and leaves one reeling
from the intensity.
Gripping lyrics with some extremely well effected vocals.
Wonderful guitar solo in the middle.

Of all the tracks from 'Tense', I think this is really a stand
out track with excellent arrangement and production.
Certainly worthy of being on a commercial Cd.

Awesome!

DAMN
That was sick fellas!! F'n awesome!! Great Voice (as usual)
Kick you in the ass guitars and a bitchin' drum track....its
got everything. Top notch production as well. 10's.

Wicked solo Chiko. :) Rock on guys.

Is it a love song?
What a naaasty honkin' guitar sound. Might be a little too
antiseptic, too clean. Not enough subsonic bass for me.

The bridge solo is terriffic. The song really works for me
there. I also think the little keyboard stabs in the closing
verse are ripping good.

What kind of retard would give this 2s?

Punk Rock!
Very ministy. Could use a little more volume/clerity on the
vocals, that could just be my crappy speakers. Amazing
energy in this track, it made me want to get up and
headbang.

You two live in tense
Another powerful production all around. If ever there was
a Wiz there was because, because, because...

Great job on the entire performance/production from both
of you. I'm not too familiar with Industrial Music, but this
certainly got my attention. Often songs of an obscure
nature/genre by the same artist(s) tend to sound similar
to one another. Unlike other niches, Industrial (from what
little I have heard) follows a definite formula unlike most
music. Is it the nature of ALL styles of music, as
perceived by individuals outside of their own aural tastes?
I guess when familiarity sets in, subtle nuances give each
song its own "flavor". I'll stop rambling. Pardon me for my
ignorance.

LE7 takes recording to the next level. You have semi-
mastered it in just a short while. Crisp clean, vibrant and
punchy. Leave the volume alone on the vocals.

Setting up the surrender
This song really grabbed me on the verse "Cut me off
from it" when the dissonance and the drive seemed to join
in an organic way that transcended the synthetic Industrial
form and just took off from there to the end. Set up
perfectly with a great bridge preceding it. Really well
done, but, for me, the whole thing could have started even
harsher, even angrier, with moments of less organized
noise and more unrestrained passion-chaos that might
puncture through (like that guitar solo)... so that the
exhaustion-in-surrending at the end would be an even
bigger release. Maybe starting with the chorus, which is
so great? Or a rippin solo, so that it starts with a
passionate wail instead of a relatively even verse? I don't
know, just a thought. That breathing bridge is fantastic.
And the ripping solo that pounces on you out of the blue,
a great moment. It really rolls after that. Amazing ending.
Very solid mix.

Hell Yeah!!!
Man you nailed this one. Great writing. You can feel the anger pouring out of this song. Dark and driving. Cool vocal effects. Dead on timing. Rippin' guitar cuts an awesome riff. Love the energy level. Definately gotta crank it up! Thanks 4 sharing - 10 x 4.
