Description This song was written fifteen years ago but it theme is always current. Live and let live.
Lyrics You say you don't like the way I am
Well that's alright with me
I think I don't like the way you are
I hope that's alright with you

Because we all live in an individual world
No two of us alike
We all live in an individual world
I guess that's why we fuss and fight

You've got to work, work, work, work it out
You've got to twist, twist, twist, twist and shout

Some people live for money
Some people live for fame
Some people just try to get through life
Without going insane

important words
Really like your words
The muisc setting for the words are appropriate.

Shows you how truthful those words can be when they are
so important to you to post 15 years later.

And I'm living for.....?
Checked out this song from your comments on my song (thanks by the way.)

Really like the work it out / twist and shout - nice touch. And the living for money, fame, etc are great lines too. Very true. Maybe we fuss and fight because one person's version of reality conflicts with anothers - and they can't "both be right", although I thank they can be be right, along with many others. But not everyone sees it that way.

A quick note on your guitar solo - its tough to do a long run of eigth notes and remain interesting. It sounded better towards the end of the solo where you had shorter runs of notes - more like lyrics being sung. My first guitar teacher said a great way to make my soloing better was to sing along with the solo to give it "breath."

Overall, I liked the feeling of the song and the intent behind it, great effort.

Hey thanks man! I was disappointed at the reception this one got. It was one
of my first attempts to really use GB and at the time I thought it was so cool.
Of course now I realize the recording quality was not so great but still I've
always thought it was a good song with a nice lively spirit.
