Very nice and mellow
I really like the guitar playing on this. I know how hard it
is to make an acoustic guitar sound good. Well sung, too.

dryer vocals
I would have preferd that you post the lyrics. This is a
great song. Well played and produced. My only sugestion
is less reverb on the
vocals. I think a dryer sound would have worked better.

Authentic and Honest
Nice song. Sounds like it was recorded in the 1950's. Very
nice, simple bass line. Some of the chord progressions
remind me of Randy Newman of all people. Really like the
tempo and purity of this tune.

honest, real-time song
I like this song. Very direct. No affectation. You tell your
story straight up. Shines even with its lack of polish. It's as
if I am sitting with you there in the park pavilion while you
wait for the car to ger fixed. Post the lyrics.

Lyrics
I tried adding the lyrics but when I clicked submit it didn't
save them so I will post them as a message.
I'm Just A Man
I'm just a man, you know it's true
I'm just a man that's in love with you
So darling why don't you love me too
Just relax and take your time
Just relax and have a mighty fine time
And darling why don't you love me too
Some people they just don't understand
You can't live your life by sticking your
head in the sand
You can run but you just can't ever hide
It's like being on a crazy roller coaster ride
Wake up and look around
Smell that coffee it's special ground
And darling I'll grind some just for you
Play your music and make me sing
Walk with a wiggle and shake that thing
And darling why don't you love me too
Repeat chorus
Guitar chords: Verse - E,C7, E, C#7,F#,B7,E,Gm7,F#m7
Chorus - C#m, F#, C#m, F#, C#m,
F#,B7,E,Gm7, F#m7

Tin Pan Alley delight
Love all the Tin Pan Alley 7th chords and old style lyrics.
Very nice structure and body to this, and I dig your
straight forward singing. Would have preferred an
vaudeville ending too. Delightful tune.

Great Work!
I love the chord structure for this song, I'm not sure if its common but its the first time I've heard something like this... Plus those are some really nice lyrics... a really nice piece.

This is great!
I love this song, I found from a comment on one of my songs and I'm so glad I did. This is really my kind of song!

This is great!
Thanks! It's good to have you with the group. One of the drawbacks of this
place though is that if you don't have people who look for your songs, or high
rated songs in your category then once your song get's pushed off the front
page you don't get many listens. Glad you found it. It is one of my favorites
also.
