99109 This is a great song! Funny and spooky like the funhouse at a carnival. Cool vocal effects. Great song art and lyrics. Excellent presentation of a very unique track. Thanks. |

thriller Some very cool, innovative stuff here. The introduction with church bells and cathedral organ was a bit long and lacked some direction, although it did set the spooky atmosphere. Also, the volume levels seemed low in that section. I had to turn down the volume when the "fun" began later. Excellent vocals -- I really liked your performance and effects. The 3-part harmonies were great. The drum accompaniment was cool at first, then might have benefited from more variety. Or....maybe have a constrasting section with a different tempo. I didn't get the computerized stuff at the very end, which didn't seem to fit the rest of the song. Hats off to you for "pushing the envelope", though -- you've come up with some very imaginative sounds in innovative combinations in this piece. Very creative! |

Original Very interesting comments, thank you all. If you feeling like wasting the time, the original 4-track version of this song is now available at: www.fosod.com/music/barron.mp3 Funny how the original addresses some of your suggestions (particularly electric power-chordy guitar!!!)! |

Oh Yeah... RE: Thriller Yeah, I thought that too (about the thriller comment). In fact, after I finished this song, I began working on a cover of Thriller but at the last minute, I bailded out. My thriller cover is HERE |

The Late fosod better late than never, eh. Love it. Nice and atmospheric, though, for my money the only song that's literally made my flesh crawl (with actual fear) was DOA by Bloodrock. Back in the late 60's or early 70's - this one shared some space with it, but maybe my system is just too addled w/ tryptophan to get unnerved by anything. I'll need to add this to my halloween mix though. |

7th Guest Your music reminds me of some of the music for the game "7th Guest" by The Fat Man. You should check it out if you're not familiar with it. You can hear the tracks from that and other projects of theirs here: http://www.fatman.com/listen.htm |

Spooked I like this - very different, but with too much substance to just be a novelty song. You definitely capture the mood. It sounds a little like an extended Children`s TV theme tune (that`s supposed to be a compliment by the way) Someone ought write a cartoon called `The Haunted House of Barron Who` to accompany it! I like the `Pray for the Morning glory` section towards the end - that was a nice surprise. Thanks for putting this one up. 8-8-8-8 |

great halloween song Those ghostly background vocals send shivers when they jump a 5th up. Great use of the organ. Nice slow pace...a zombie could catch you. The "pray for the morning glory..." voice adds a nice contrast. He didn't seem to be part of the nightmare at first, but by the end of his singing he was. |

Wooo, spooky and mega cool track.
I love all those vocals effects and harmonies.
Excellent lyrics and well arranged..
