Another superb duet How you avoid stereotype writing such pretty music is genius in itself. Nothing obvious here, yet it is as if I have heard this inside me before. The variations, never growing stale, always adding new senses and emotions, bravo. Your duets (I'm thinking "We Are One Body") are superb and carry so much from two players. Incredibly melodic, as always. |

lovely little gem You convey the mellow, romantic atmosphere of relaxing in front of the fireplace PERFECTLY in this tune. Both of you offer wonderful, heartfelt playing on this track. The simplicity of the piano and sax create a very pleasing mood. Your playing complements one another very well. One very minor thing: the piano chords towards the end distorted slightly (through my headphones). Is that the vagaries of mp3 conversion? I'm basking in this warm glow. Thanks! |

Mellow I like this. Yes, very fireplace. Some distortion (clipping) toward end. Soundspace a little hollow sounding. 9-7-8-8 |

Beautiful Music A nice, flowing melody, and some really wonderful chord changes. You piano solo is brilliant, and the sax/piano combo is great. You two have obviously made music together for a while. And that build near the end, with the repeated bass of the piano and the ascending line in the sax gave me chills. This is one of the best things I've heard in a whle, and I'm not being exclusive to MacJams. Nothing to complain about except that MP3 technology can't contain all of your music. |

As usual: amazing I can "get" both the river feeling that was originally conceived, and the "brandy and cuddling in front of the fire at holiday time" feeling that you brought this out for. It's an amazing bit of versatility in a piece - it reminds me of some of the best of the sort of early Windham Hill sound, when they were first defining a sound. |

Wow This is what I call music - ah it's beautiful. I could listen to this sort of stuff all day. The saxaphone melody is great - so peaceful and lazy, but yet intriguingly interesting. And the piano - well, it's beautiful too. Extremely emotional, and unpredictable yet so easy to listen to. I love this song. 10's from me and a download too. |

picture / wow/ music great too First thing I spotted when I went to your page was that drop dead picture. The piano sounds great and sax is just perfect for that romantic music. It kind of makes me feel like I can see you guys playing at a dinner club in some big city at night. But then slowly turning to a scene like the picture above. Enjoyed the whole piece! Nice ending |

enjoyable Tobin, this is a really great track. Sensitive piano, and lyrical sax. If this doesn't get your girl in the mood, nothing will! |

I really love the arrangement Wow, I really love the arrangement and it reminds me of the way an old friend plays LEGATO (he%u2019s also on here) But needs vocals if you ask me and the Kenny G sax has to go way too far on the 98.7 the Wave. Have you ever heard of Andy Mackay (Roxy Music) ? Good Stuff overall Mr. J |

Pretty Nice work. Sounds really professional, and the mixing is top-notch. Transitions well from section to section. |

Very nice... Thank you Tobin, for giving me a head's-up on your track. Very smooth jazz. Very peaceful. I enjoyed this very much, even though it's very far from my usual genre. Aside from what I write and post here on MJ, I am a fan of many other genres, including smooth jazz. It reminds me of living in San Diego, sitting at the beach, watching the sunset over the Pacific. Thanks again for bringing back fond memories. Take care, Tobin! Wonderful work! Peace! -Boris Luxx |

Genius I really enjoyed this piece. It is very fluid and clearly composed by someone with an exceptional musical mind. To write music about a particular experience is one thing but to be able to convey imagry from the piece is another. |

Natural flow The beautiful thing about rivers to me is that they flow with both variety and consistancy -- if you know what I mean. River Runs Through Me captures both qualities, while still remaining in the peaceful sections of riverflow. No rapids here. It reminds me of growing up in Michigan and taking canoe trips down some woodlined river, coming to a peaceful section and just laying back and looking up at the trees, clouds, birds -- the river above -- floating by, while listening to the soothing undulations of the river below. You captured it beautifully! |

Wonderful tune A delight to listen to.Well done Tracy |

Perfect temperment and character of recording. Really creative and masterful twinkling on the keys. I like the sax (I usually have an aversion to sax, so that's saying a lot), which is expressive without resorting to gymnastics or wailing. Many nice, gentle, purposeful movements throughout. Impressive how far and wide two instruments can carry a body.
