serious chops You show an array of dazzling guitar techniques on this tune which reach out and TOUCH the listener. The piece has a sense of free-form improvisation, yet has a coherent, consistent structure which carries it through excellently from start to finish. Thought I was catching Bits and pieces (or at least similar snatches) from "Mood for a Day" and maybe (strangely enough, since it's keyboard) Wakeman's "6 Wives of Henry VIII" in there. Amazing performance. Very virtuosic. Just awesome. |

And the occasional sense of stereo that comes across is a great touch, hearing your inhales and exhales in the background, guitar body sounds, give the track a vital excitement. Yes! Really good composition played very well. The one thing I'm not crazy about is the sound production. It is not doing your talent justice. I suspect the culprit is the microphone(s). |

Tasty treat Talk about coming late to the party! I just found this. Lots of nice things here, fun to listen to, and it has some interesting character changes. I here an almost new-agey feeling expansiveness in the opening section, I here some flamenco influences later, and, as you already acknowledged, there's a tip of the hat to Pete Townsend in there too. Nice playing, once again, and a fine tune. I'm going to check out the later version now. |
