The music you write is some of the best out there!!!!! Yes it is a fact!!!! Ray Kainz (Eleveneyes) knows how to write a song! I love your unique way of making songs. They are so original they cannot be compared to any other style or band. The music is both well written and has alot of gut in it, your tones are amazing. I love the way you just use enough distortion, not too much just the right amount. I use to know a kid who loved way too much distortion, until I showed him your music, and then he understood that, you don't need alot of distortion to have great tone. Nice Voice Great music and the lead vocals are wonderful, however it seems the songwriting could use some work. Question, did you write your own Bio? If not you should tell your friends to tone it down a bit, just a tad over the top. |

My "over the top" bio has to be "over the top" to make up for bios that read like yours: blank space. kickinthebox criticises my bio on my song page when on kickinthebox's bio page there are NO SONGS and NO BIO! Should I use your bio kickinthebox as a template of how to keep my bio "under the top"? |

SO much here! You've got an incredible amount of sounds going on in this tune, many artful little musical flourishes and textures. I like your chord progressions -- very interesting. The drum track is varied and complex; quite well done! Vocals are excellent and well-balanced with the intricate accompaniment. The musical content was so interesting to listen to on this track that I really didn't focus on the lyrics....but I'm very glad that you posted them so I could follow along on the second listen. They are as equally complex as the musical accompaniment, which unifies this song effectively. The song art was WEIRD and didn't really fit what I was hearing, but at least it woke me up and made me laugh. I know I probably overuse the word "ARTFUL" in my comments on MacJams in general, but that term is very appropriate for this song! Very well done. |

enigmatically insightful Great, great lyrics. I could see her on the street off of Union Square, I think I know her, actually, this Sylvia. Broken mirrors of each. Twisted, funny, whimsical, sad, enigmatically insightful. Wonderful production across the board. Altho, with lyrics this complex, I found it too hard to follow along without the use of the lyric sheet (thanks for posting them, by the way). Another pro track. |

God I LOVE P90's You have the exact sound I like on your crunchy stuff. Just sounds like a curled lip.. I have a buddy who has a few old gits including a Les Paul junior (with a single P90) and the sound blows me away, have tried a few (Really like the PRS McCarty gold top) but can't bring myself to pay. You got me thinking again... Damn dude you sound GOOD on that thing. Oh liked the track too...almost sounded like the Spin Doctors on the chorus..Very cool..yeah...liked it. |

smart rock syliva's quotes were my favorite part, and the clear pop rock stylings of your indredible chorus so perfectly played. even though it wasn't political, it started feeling too political about 2/3s in for me, almost preachy, when the humor and clever craziness of the first half lyrics already said it. even though i really like that you're telling a complete story here. don't want to discourage antyihg, because i love what you do and caan't wait to hear more and more and more... |

Psych student? Didn't realise you are/were a psych student? I'm a psych lecturer. Schizophrenia's a frightening but therefore facinating subject. I can see why you wanted to write a song about it. Of course technically there's some difference between schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder (in theory, anyway) but that's just me talking shop. Very difficult to follow 'I Smoke A Pipe' but I think you did the right thing by attempting something completely different. I'm not sure I understand the comment that suggested this was difficult to listen to. It does sound quite complicated in places but as you say "each verse uses the same chords and the chorus is just three chord rock". Just goes to show what you can do with three chord rock! I think I gave this 8 8 7 8 but this comment has taken me so long to type that I've almost forgotten. Keep 'em coming. |
