hey there welcome to MJ. sounds good. second what Drak said about Audacity. I have done whole songs in it, but find it much easier with other software. Try out Reaper, it's shareware and really good. there is a mac beta version now that works well. if i can make a suggestion, when you post an open collab you might want to say what the BPM is for the song. a lot of people are doing MIDI and it helps get loops synced, get the bounces on delay right, etc... like the sound of the quadraverb too. see you around. |

Welcome to MJ, bent propeller and all. :-) And welcome to the slow but fun process of getting set up to record and collaborate on musical this-n-thats. Audacity is easy to record into, but not that great to try to do multi-tracking with (adding drums, bass, etc.) And, early on, you may also want to offer to add guitar/drums/etc to other Macjammer's works and have them do the mixing, as you learn how to do it in parallel yourself... that's how many of us learned.
ttfn,
Drakonis
