Description When Feter asked me to sing on a track of his, I'd no idea he'd be sending me some *real* stringed instruments to sing along with!

This was a delightful challenge, as it's been a while since I've sung music in this style. Thank you, Feter, for being so willing to let me change the initial verse and add to it (which made it easier for me to sing to).

It's a pleasure to sing to your beautiful music!!
Lyrics Anna Maria, summertime is nigh
And songbirds are singing.
Where did you go?
Where did you go?
My dearest Anna Maria.

What did you do there?
What did you do there?
Where did you go,
My dearest Anna Maria.

Anna Maria summertime is nigh
And my heart is singing
I love you so! I love you so!
My dearest Anna Maria

Awesome
You're a pro to do this Cat, and yes I agree Feter's stringed track is beautiful and so are your voice too.. Kudos you2

Roxylee said 46 days ago
Beautiful
Cat, your vocals are perfect for this wonderful classical piece. I love the harmony with the strings. :-)

Lovely piece. A good writing job for Feter and a great job singing from you.

vibration of harmony
it is purity and simplicity in composition and singing. it is difficult to achieve such simplicity. the strong harmony resonates in the mind, long after the music is complete. it is a good vibration. 0x0

Nice choral stuff!
Nice music, indeed! Lofty, open and bright.

Great production.

wow
wasn't expecting this, thought it would be more folk, but i obviously forgot about Feters hidden knack for chamber music. this is beautiful guys, really makes me think you need to do a holiday release.

Reinholt56 said 45 days ago
My oh my.......
I love this sort of piece, a beautiful arrangement, excellent playing and singing.

Very, very refreshing to hear.

Well done to you both.

The honor all is mine Cat dear , I really so happy
this come along this precious stage ...you just did
what exactly what I wished this Madrigal can end up to
you just perfect soulful singer and wonderful heart .
thnx alot for letting such wonderful dream came true !

gorgeous duet
very nice work by both of you. Although there were a couple places where you mirrored the string lines with your voice (which made them almost indistinguishable, since you hit the notes dead-on) there's not much I can think of to say other than picking my jaw back up and saying "wow!". Very pretty piece here!

Wonderful Cat
Your voice, as always is clear and pristine and your harmonies are fantastic. Feter's back tracks sound equally awesome in the context of your vocals.
'
Marvelous collab, Kudos to both of you.

First thoughts
were that this takes me back to those days of wholesome entertaining movies where values, ethics and a sense of well being was had at the end of the story. Classic in deed. What superb control, elocution and delivery.

You both have my standing applause.

Is there anything more of such to be expected in the future?

Stunning...
I was chatting w/you and Feter when he asked you to do this. If this is just you adlibbing parts, that's very impressive. I like the tone you get on the vocal, sort of retro drawing room lieder. Excellent work by Feter too - nice quartet arrangement,

dreadmon said 44 days ago
Wow, lovely!
As much as I love software instrument strings for ease of use, nothing beats real strings and Feter has created a wonderful arrangement here. Your vocals are wonderful - this is a sweet treat for the ears!

Moviz said 44 days ago
Just
Beautiful, both the music by Feter and your singing of those lovely quaint lyrics, regards M

A gem...
A precious, heart-felt... somewhat sad aria, yet so beautiful and sweet. Two of my favorites.... Mysti and Feter.

Lovely
Reminds me of the lieder based on German folk tunes that I sang in college. (Not nearly sung so well, or accompanied so delightfully.)

WOW!
This is so beautiful!

What they...
...said (above). It seems unanimous: the vocals are beautifully done and accompanied well by Feter's acoustic strings. All in all, a delightful (and springy) collaboration that just ends up feeling good (and making one feel that way, too). It is so wonderful to hear THIS KIND OF MUSIC here and to also see that so many others feel the same way. Bravo! Brava!
Peace.
