Keywords guitar (945)jazz (426)rag (12)fingerstyle (25)jig (6)
Description This one's just for a bit of fun. Remember the days playing away at some social function and everyone's just chatting away? You're thinking at the beginning "don't mind me" - then towards the end "God, I wish you'd all shut your cake-holes and listen for a minute." Well this is a recreation of that moment using awigze's "offering" of crowd ambience (http://www.macjams.com/song/47830).

Cheer up lads and lasses.....
Hardware Alvarez Yairi & luna fingers!

wow
you nailed that feeling. i can almost see the 2 people at the edge of the crowd who are actually into it. beyond the clever bit of self deprecation, this is a really nice piece of music. didn't realize you were such a good acoustic player. this piece might be worth recording again with a rhythm section behind you, or as a Django tribute with a violin. great stuff.

Thanks Michael
This is one of 4 or 5 ditties I play to warm up - or when I can't think of anything else to play. I've never considered recording it before....

LunaTrick said 45 days ago
Thanks Mac
Must check out your stuff!

regulus said 45 days ago
I know Just
exactly what your talking about. Been there, had that kind of impression. To many small cafes and lounges out in the world for anyone coming up in the world of music to not have had such.

Great pick'en on this. But then, I would guess you know that by know.

Don't stop the creativity, it's helping to save the world.

Niiiiiice....
I know I'd stop and listen if I were 'in the crowd.'
I love the 'at-first-laid-back-and-then-jaunty' way this piece meanders, as if through the crowd...

nice!! :)

LunaTrick said 45 days ago
Thanks Cat...
So nice to have you drop by...

I'm working on that Ukelele piece for you....

Vic Holman said 45 days ago
been there
and then you have to help put the chairs away after everyone has left.

nice acoustic playing.

Michael 2 had a nice idea about this.

LunaTrick said 45 days ago
Too right Vic...

nice use
Nice usage of the crowd ambient file. Love the fingerpickin'. There's that Alvarez again. I thought about using it for the same thing,,,, maybe I could add in some glasses and forks and knives clinking. The photograph you used says it all. Reminds me once when I played to a salad bar.

LunaTrick said 30 days ago
Ha Ha...
The old salad bar gig... now there's a song my friend!

Macaudion said 33 days ago
You'd think and even bet money...
...that it'd take a great deal of effort to ignore this. Group thinking at it's all time low.

Wonderful playing, but I doubt that you can hear me applauding.

It felt silly, but I really did...

Thanks again, Luna.
