Ya Mon Irie! I dig it mon. Very very nice. Great arrangement, and great sound on the dulcimer. Good luck with the Cd. |

Good to hear from you, Bing! A classic tune with that classic Bing touch. I love the pealing bells effect. How many passes on the dulcimer did it take to get that? I like the backing orchestration, too. Something a bit different and nice. I'll start posting a few Advent tunes on Thanksgiving weekend. I always look forward to the holiday music season here at MacJams - it seems to bring out the best in people. |

I love the mix you get... ...between bass and dulcimer, and I keep wondering if you've got a bass dulcimer goin' on... Love the Mormon Tabernacle Dulcimer effect... and the chimes... and the general arrangement... I wasn't sure I'd go for it coming off the synth intro, but go for it I did and do... Gotta send it to my sisters... And hey, I saw one of your videos on YouTube, which I also enjoyed... Good to hear you again, Bing... Ed |

i bought a dulcimer at a flea market one time and I had a hard enough time putting new strings on it that I never even got to play the thing (what a piece of garbage - i sometimes bang on it with mallets and use it as a drum). anyways I digress: this is really fabulous, i'm impressed. you really have a great ear and a nice touch. this will definitely be on my xmas play list. |

mountain dulcimer! Had a wonderful time listening to this. Especially like the combination of instruments - and the fact that all string instruments sound 'real' - blending very well with the soft percussion and synths. One of the nicest 'modern' interpretations I've heard. Charming! |

Nice enjoyed how it started out and how it continues, like the way the whole thing comes across. This is my fav of yours. Love the thump, deadening of the strings, really accentuates the music with lots of cool rhythms. Great use of the synth as well. A real christmas highlight here at MJ ! Well done with lots of pop originality! Way To Go Thanks for sharing! |

It is always a treat when you post something. You always do magnificent work with traditional tunes. You preserve the integrity of what makes them so memorable in the first place, but are still able to put loads of your own flavor. |

Gorgeous Man, that got me in the holiday mood in two seconds flat! Such beautiful playing; such a delicate touch. A toast of hot chocolate by the fire with snow flakes falling, children calling, and a room lit by the light of a Christmas tree. |

Happy sound It's still a bit early, but some good cheer is never unwelcome. The light sound of your strings fits this song very nicely. Good sounding mix, and a cool arrangement will those little touches like the strings later on. One remark: I'm not that happy about the bass. It's a bit very static, just holding long notes until the next chord change. |
