Description This is another one rescued from the Luna vaults. I recorded it years ago while living in San Diego. One of my best friends (and old band drummer) and I used to go hiking in the Cuyamaca area near his home town of Julian, CA. I tried to capture the stony panorama with it's vistas, crags, rock-slopes, and caves. I was going for a wash of sound, a lush cacophony if you will, but with a steady plodding beat. The magic of that methodical climb up stonewall peak with its desert palette of rust and rouge. I know it's sloppy - but I resurrected it in honour of my friend, Mick, who because of a strange condition called Guillain Barre Syndrome, can no longer play the drums. This one is all guitar (I have a little Fripp in me!) and drums... the latter attempted manually by yours truly.

The days of our youth live on through music....

	Hi Daniel......... Nice one mate. Lovely swirling everything. It reminds me of some of the early Santana stuff, with Greg Roley? playing this type of wash on the keyboards with the leslie switched between slow and fast. Magical. Take care. Paul

	Lush Great washes of color. The live drums really make this piece. Usually not a fan of big reverb, but in this case it really works. Nice jam.
