Keywords Birdman Wayne (11)
Description Jack was just noodling on the piano as we sat one day and our feelings about the Birdman just sorta came out.

This is Jacks piano work
Mark did the lyrics and vocals and final mix
Jack added in some great backing vocals

Thanks Jack for allowing me to be a part of this!
Lyrics This is about
A young man we all know
He's been moved all around
and lost friends he has known
His days are filled
with happiness and tears
But each day brings
a whole new set of fears

Birdman Wayne
Come back here
Give us the gift
of your musical ear

Imagine having to leave
your home in a war
Unsure if you'd ever see
your friends anymore
He must often think
of those he left behind
It must really weigh
Heavily on his mind.

Birdman Wayne
Come back here
Give us the gift
of your musical ear

For we all know you
We all feel for you

Strength is a virtue
not many of us have
For Birdman Wayne
having to leave his own land
Strength must have come
From the fear of war
and how it sends death
knocking at your door

Birdman Wayne
Come back here
Give us the gift
of your musical ear

For we all know you

We feel for you Birdman

Great tribute and call...
An amazingly talented and gracious young man, well worth a song.

Mark, Jack, you two did a wonderful job calling from us collective Macjammer friends. I wish him the best in his travels, and I do hope those travels bring him back here, where *everyone* at Macjams can accept him with open arms.

ttfn,
Drakonis

Great song guys
I love the treatment you gave it and the lyrics.

I wrote to Yeman and ket him know about it so maybe he'll have a chance to hear it. It's wonderful that you two did this song. Helps to keep out mutual friend in the minds of all of us.

Great job, thanks again for doing it,

Ed

cos
he uses you to his own greed as a spoil boy ...I warrned
him he couldnt resist his greed ..uses many millions pains
for his own benefit ..I told his dad that ...but seems
there were no echos there !
sad ..I just dont want to see him here anymore ..I
introduced him here to learn and benefit and be humble
he uses that for his own benefit and let you all into his
drama ..so sad ...!

Mr. Feter
It is my belief that music transcends all these petty little things that go on in our lives. One of the most special things about MacJams is that only a few us make money with our music... Most of us do it for the pure fun of it.

I know not of what you speak. I don't say it didn't exist or happen but, in every encounter with Sir Yeman he has been nothing but a gentleman and at all of 14 years old from what I understand as well.

I truly hope that you and Yeman can cross over this rift and look back on music as the thing that can bring you together. What one does in his personal life belongs not on MacJams. This is a place for music and for me music is a together thing. Let's all try to remember that music is what brought us here in the first place.

Seriously, you two sound terrific singing together. Your voices really blend. What a kind tribute to Birdman Wayne. How wonderful to have friends like you in his corner. Great job!

I was directed here by Bud -
The thoughts behind this are magnificent. What a community! To highlight this man's plight in a song is just amazing.

Thanks to you, we are more aware of just what's happening outside of own world.

I really enjoyed the talking too. Music is the one true religion that binds us all.

to make this place feel like family.

right then ....
I am so appreciative of Mark. Huge writers slump has plagued me for a bit and I know from past experience and advice from folks here a collaboration is good medicine for such afflictions. This piece of work was on a shelf with no direction so I ask my good friend for some inspiration. What Mark put into to this incomplete thingy is magic and a heartfelt tribute to a talented and gentle soul. Yemen was such a large support and friend for my simple efforts upon first arrival here. I think this song was just waiting for this treatment. Mark ... who can frown when you are around ??? No one . Thanks brother, indeed.
