Description **NEW EXTENDED VERSION HERE**

Nothing particularly special about this one, just had to get out some pent up frustration today.
Lyrics I had a happy feeling
That you'd turn up here like this
Your chemical imbalance
Is no shot in the dark miss
So line up all your poison
And tie off your last lifeline
The show is just beginning
And you've made it right in time

It's gonna lift you up
Then it'll drop you down
It's gonna make you swim
Then it'll watch you drown

Now that you are flying
And everything looks so small
You'd better keep it going
Or you're surely bound to fall
They make it so easy
To destroy our moral soul
But you won't fight it cuz you like it
You cannot say no

It's gonna lift you up
Then it'll drop you down
It's gonna make you swim
Then it'll watch you drown

Very cool
Had to go back and play it again with the speakers cranked. Really like the chorus part. Thanks for the download!

Killer Tune!
Nice energy and the deep breaths are great too :)

rsorensen said 61 days ago
breaths
thanks TG. I debated leaving the breaths out but thought they brought something dark to the song. glad you think they work

Your Poison
this is a cool work my friend ...sheilad is right
the chorus is good ..thnx for sharin !!!

rsorensen said 61 days ago
chorus
thanks feter. yeah the chorus is my favorite part. i like that heavy synth in there. thanks for listening.

michael2 said 62 days ago
yes
nice one. love how the drums came in all hard panned (nice touch), and that feedback is perfect in the verse. and when the chorus comes in, what a glorious racket. nothing special, yeah right. great track Ridd.

rsorensen said 61 days ago
hard pan
thanks michael. i got the panned distorted drums idea from an old lenny kravitz tune I'm fond of. He panned them left and sang right. seems to be an effective way to separate the initial panned verse from the centered chorus. glad you like this, thanks.

Vic Holman said 62 days ago
let it out
intense............ just the way I like it.

you know you are dangerous behind that mike don't ya?

excellent tune

rsorensen said 61 days ago
thin walls
thank you vic. this one was a lot of fun. not sure what my neighbors thought about me screaming NOOOOOO, but I didn't get any complaints. Guess they're used to it haha.

regulus said 62 days ago
This is so A
ppropriate to the age and of time in the past of the microcosm that is the trend makers. Dark, and depressive vitalizing. Totally Goth. On a parallel to Alice in Chains (Dirt album), Evanescence, The Cult, NIN. Had you another ten songs of like impactive construction and a band to do such, you could do tour, no sweat. As for a band you can rent musicians to preform the notes and tabulations to your work, to do a concert or be part of some name bands concert as the 2nd act. The Twilight Zone TV show intro was.. was.

All that above, means that I think this is a main stream counter culture hit looking to happen. Man, you are expressively versatile.
Nuff said........ chao

This is a downloader for me also.

rsorensen said 61 days ago
band
thanks man. very kind words. this is a demo for satellite tragedy's second album and yeah there will be 9-10 more like this. as for a band, i may have to get one together pretty quick so your suggestion may come to fruition. thanks again!

lank81 said 62 days ago
Sweet
The transition from the 2nd verse to chorus was great. Definitely a nice NiN feel to it. Another great tune. Thx.

Relic67 said 62 days ago
nice.
not sure how you accomplished the feedback sounds in verse part, but its cool. great chorus and solo out too. a winner.

rsorensen said 61 days ago
thanks
i was going for an insane kind of bagpipe sound, Basically it's pitched up mic feedback. Glad you like this, thanks.

lavalamp said 61 days ago
Nice one Trent......
The percussion sounded great. Nice delivery as usual Ridd, sounds Reznoresque.

You ROCK, brother. Great dynamics and emotion.

All bow to Ridd.

One more thing....
You could have gone back to a verse after that awesome climax. It would not have been too long, but just right.....in my book.

Smiles,

Dave

another verse
Yeah I hear you. I'm thinking of adding a really quiet part after that last explosion. Thanks Dave.

Lennon714 said 61 days ago
I think
you've made Trent Reznor jealous. You've certainly made me so. Love the wall of sound that assaults in the chorus.

NewInfection said 61 days ago
badass
you are a writing machine. it is showing me how truly lazy i have been lately....love this one, brother. truly killer compostition

awesome
wow, another awesome song. i'm sure it wasn't, but this feels so effortless, and natural. it's great to listen to and yeah, i'd say cathartic would describe this perfectly.
