Bluegrass Funk... ...Yep. Maybe that's it, Bud. I can't believe you glued this all together from a bunch of loops. Amazing. This is a lot of fun to listen to with many interesting things going on...My only negative crit: too short. I could easily last another minute or so and still be tapping my foot. How fun. You are one awfully creative guy, Bud. Peace. Paul |

cool funk like the fun of this, lots of funk in the right places. Interesting combination. Almost like Brother Where Art Thought meets Miles Davis meets David Grisman. This very interesting to hear. WAY TO GO!!!!! |

Among Loopers, you are The One Nice construction. Love the lyrics (silent like the "P" in Victory! On one hand, loop-only music is lazy; on the other, it's a talent I wish I had the patience to do better myself. Feel free to blog or send a note about your impressions of the Obama win on the community you were filming in, if you got out to find out. I am uncharacteristically optimistic about what "that one... The One" (!) can accomplish because IMHO after four decades as a voter I see in Obama the most intelligent mature and non-ideological thinker of my lifetime. I had to get that out of my system! |

Right up my street You know I'm a sucker for this kind of mashed-up genre - country/bluegrass but funky clav going on takes it to different place. Loops or not, this tune is very effective and is a testament to your ability to be influenced by ANYTHING and turn it into something for a delighted audience. Cheers, Kevin. Jim |

Great Blend I can see every one dancing around with glee. I'm happy for Obama's win as well. He has quite a mess to deal with when he gets in office. Thanks for sharing. |

melting pot A melting pot of victory loops. It's all whoopee pies and orange crush. Stompin feet and yee-haws back in barn, with long bearded, felted hat bottle puffers, savvy spoon players and laundry board scratchers all awaiting their turn at center stage. It's a great time to be an American. |

Another Round ...of cold ones from the big aluminum tub full of ice! Ripping good groove going here;it's entirely too easy to forget this is loops bouncing off each other and not a group of wildly-different musicians from several different tour busses who all got stuck in a tiny town overnight and decided to have an impromptu jam in the lobby. I learn fascinating stuff from you all the time, and your influence is considerable - creativity just explodes out of you in all directions like a torn burlap bag full of cats. I can't remember the last time I put together a pure loops-only tune........... it might be a hoot, tho' I doubt it would sound as raucous as this! Maybe it's because you were in Texas? Maybe it's because, after the election morning dawned, the nation felt it could actually breathe again? A riot of a tune, served with cold beer and plenty of room to dance. |
