Description WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO? A post-Halloween "Boo!" to you. While I'm not anti-religion, that bible stuff can be pretty scary--take the bible quote taped to a Twix candy bar my four year-old daughter got while on Halloween trick-or-treat rounds. Lyrics are included so you can read the real bible quote (as well as my version of it).

This is in the "sketch" category. A collab drummer would be ideal.

P.S.: What genre IS this, anyway?! Holiday? Inspirational? I'll just call it rock.
Lyrics [FULL LYRICS BELOW -- SHORTENED FOR THIS SKETCH]

Went out trick or treating,
and much to my surprise
Got a Twix Bar--cookie, caramel
then I got prostlytized

It was no fun-size mini
But a full-size 2-ounce snacker
And on the back a bible verse
Taped right onto the wrapper:

"He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress,
and for his children it will be a refuge.
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life,
turning a man from the snares of death."

Now, I don't believe in hell
And I won't go to heaven
But I do believe that tricky treater
Believes in Proverbs 14:26-27

I do believe all people
Should do what they believe
But far too many lemmings
Don't practice what they preach

"He who uses the Lord has a strong facade,
and for his children it will be subterfuge.
The fear of the Lord is a mountain of trouble,
turning a man from the light of wisdom."

That's from me, 49
11 months and three days.
And I don't believe religion
Should taint politics or race

Today too many people
Hide behind a preacher's words
It's time to get to thinking
For themselves, not with the herd

Really Bizarre and different for a Halloween treat. Very experimental and enjoyed as well. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks and/or sorry!
I know, this was a strange one. Don't worry, I have a ice, acoustic tune waiting in the wings. I plan on redoing it, but may post the half-decent first version in the meantime. We shall see...

How cool is this one?
Very. Halloween being the night when all the souls are set free to wander the Earth and create mischief, I see we have one right here in our midst.

Love the way you put this together my friend. Now if we could just find a real drummer.

Be well and be cool Bob
