this is Outstanding ..the guitar pickin is a killer !!
what kind of folk jazz is this ? very impressive and
deep ..true classic touch here ..best enjoyed !!!!!!
Deepest bow !!!

fambroski said 65 days ago
Good question
Thanks Feter, What kind of folk jazz is this? Good question. This is one of the issues that's been a curse for me over the years. I'm too jazzy for the folkies and too folky for the jazzers. I'm a promoters nightmare. Now that "hybrid artist" is becoming part to the musical lexicon. Things are looking a bit more hopeful. I'm a hybrid jazz folk artist. : )

Drew Kopr said 65 days ago
whoa shit that's good
Wow man, that's some gorgeous guitar playing and your voice hangs right in there. You should not be allowed to play this well and post at macjams!!

Very enjoyable music!

fambroski said 63 days ago
Nice description
Now that you mention it, it's samba-eques with flamenco technique.

What?
Flamenco-Classical-Jazz-Folk? If I had a nickel...

;-)

I believe this may be a brand new creature unlike any other brought upon the earth! And a damn well-performed one at that.

Bob Rodgers said 63 days ago
Brilliant!
Love this, a lovely clear sound from your guitar and some excellent playing!

Great vocals too and very much enjoyed!

Bob

Skean said 63 days ago

Rocha Malhada said 63 days ago
little do they know?
this I grew up on in Brazil - so popular this style

a splendid flash in resurrecting my loved memories and homesickness for that time. In Portuguese, there is a word for that, "Saudades" -

Thanks, man

. - Harold

Rocha Malhada said 63 days ago
not to mention...
the man plays his guitar upside-down... :)

*sheesh*

WildlifeAnalysis said 62 days ago
Yummm.
Great tone!

Ejh said 62 days ago
Ya know...
I'd go out to listen to you in a Borders or Barnes & Noble for free anytime. ..I'd even order an expensively ornamented latte...I'd...I'd buy a MAGAZINE...I'd tip the waiter!...

I love the way this has drive and attack while also being as melodic as all get out...

Ed

Nicely recorded, too. ARE you playing upside down?

fambroski said 59 days ago
Just one Magazine?
Hey tx Ed,
Yup it's upside down. It's cheaper that way. : )

guitapick said 59 days ago
Hey!
You can't do that!

;)

Play that thang, Mr. Fambro...

The singing just sends it over the top...

pablatone said 58 days ago
I love this site
I would never have gotten to hear that any where else. This is just a wonderful tune! It must be a kick to be able to play like that. Good job, and thank you.

Roxylee said 58 days ago
I agree-Wow.
If you play this in the street, you will get dollars, not change. You make that guitar into a drum as well as a stringed instrument. Your voice is one with the instrument. Wow. And I can't even hear the MDD in the background. ;-)

Ibstrat said 24 days ago
Totally
amazing stuff.I really like the way you use the percussion- a lot of people do it as a vehicle for showing off which can be annoying. You have integrated it into the piece in a beautiful way.Wonderful!

fambroski said 24 days ago
Tnx
Interestingly, yes I play the guitar but I'm not into the guitar, I'm into music. I just happen to play the guitar. I'm not natural skilled at it so I have to practice. Yup it's all about the music. I'm grateful for your insight.

Char said 24 days ago
Hey, Miche,
Thank Damien for the heads up. Excellent, whether upside down or right side up. You are an original. Thanks.

fambroski said 24 days ago
I sure will
I've mention it to Damien once but it's always good to here it again. I'm on MJ because of Damien. I had noticed that a video of mine was being viewed here. Damien had posted one here on MJ. I checked it out here and loved to whole vibe and community. The rest is...history. I'll reminded him of my appreciation. Thanks Char.

kristyjo said 24 days ago
ok, so i missed this when you posted it.
late to the party as usual, but i'm glad I got here for this. I just like listening to it. Yeah, good sound. Wish i could say more, in a clever, sassy way, but I'll just listen some more.

fambroski said 24 days ago
Late to the party
Late to the party? Well you're here now. Would you like some punch? Hey they're playing the Bee Gee's wanna boogie? Wow check out Kristyjo? She's getting down with her bad self. What a party. Thanks for coming. : )
