Description This is another song with lyrics & vocals from Kevin, a wonderful singer who came to my studio back in April. I forgot about this one! We worked on this number when he came to sing vocals on some of my other songs and after finding it today I decided to complete it.

Had a lot of fun doing this one, it chugs along quite nicely and it's not very long!

as smooth as
Tom Jones, but with a 'zeppelin' edge. This is superb. Great musicianship all around, i'd be extremely proud of this. I also think the length is perfect - just enough to want a little bit more and make me hit 'repeat'.
thanks for this, a real gem

'Tom Jones but with a Zeppelin edge' I like that and a good description of this!
I did'nt want this one to be very long and that seems to have worked quite well with this song.

I'm pleased you enjoyed this and thanks for your kind comments, much appreciated.

Nice rockin tune Bob
Great rhythm and lead parts and you're right about Kevin's singing.

The rest of the back tracks work just right, especially the bass.

great job you two, and a great song.

Be well and be cool,

Ed

p.s. Please post the lyrics for us deaf folks, it really helps me get the most out of a listen.

Bob - this is
really, really good. Sounds totally pro to me. You get a fantastic drum and bass sound - just seems like a great live band. Wonderful guitar. Song is really well crafted. Kevin's vocal excels too. Perfect track/production and another download for me. Thanks.
Cheers
Len

New Classic
Great song. This song is destined to be a blues classic. Albert King would have been all over this. Very very cool.

excellent tune Bob. Kevin has added some great vocals here.

I know I've said it before. there sure is a strong Bad Company influence. But, that guitar solo is way better then they could have ever produced.

Bob Rodgers said 60 days ago
Thanks Vic!
You have mentioned the Bad Company influence before and you are right, I can hear it too in this song. I'm not surprised really, I went to many Bad Co concerts in the '70s and they are one of my fav bands from that time. I was always playing their albums and learning their songs on the guitar!
The last band I was in also played lots of Free and Bad Co numbers!

Thanks for your kind comments Vic!

I think you are one to something here.

Really cool tones and a great progression to lay them over. I especially like your rhythm sound. But the lead drips with high-gain happiness as well!

Great performances by all parties.

Bob Rodgers said 30 days ago
Thanks Pete!
This progression is a fav of mine with some nice chords.

Thanks for the listen and comments.

It does chug along nicely
Good sounds esp the drum beat, it tickled my ears. I don't know how you made it sound like that. The music is really good and like the guitar solo. The lyrics sound really familiar, in fact the whole track does, but in a good way. Cool track.
P.s. The vocal positioning has improved from the first submitted track, which is good.

Bob Rodgers said 25 days ago
Yes
I wanted to improve on the vocal position and it's good to hear I have acheived that with this song.

Appreciate your comments Keith, thank you!

This put a huge smile on my face this morning. That is one sweet bass line. You're right Kevin can sing, yep. Killer when that lead guitar comes in.
