Description I made this one over the weekend and actually posted yesterday. In the same day, I also yanked it. I've tweaked it some and am reposting for feedback and suggestions. I know it needs work - there's a lot going on in here but I like the whole overall tone of it. Thank you!

Energizer
interesting structure ..good for action or suspense ..
i wonder if you are using loops and tweaks them to
your own way ...this showed on the constancy of your
beats and strings parts ..you have a nice understanding
and imagenation ..wish to hear a huge ending for this
as well ...like a long chord ..what do you think ? ..
thank you for sharing this and willing to catchup with
your final take ...!!!

The End
Thank you for the comment and suggestion! I agree, it definitely needs a different ending, it's a little abrupt. I'm going to try the long chord...I think that will make a huge difference, as the ending is just as important as the beginning.

yo
i actually really liked it and thought it was pretty intense. It would fit in either a horror or action scenario...Good stuff you've got a good ear!

Intense
Thanks PEO. I'm so glad you liked it!!

Suspenseful
Great use of loops. The ending is a little bit of a let down. (although the loop libraries are part of that problem). A big long chord, as Feter suggests is one way, or just build volume and then end on a staccato chord.

Thanks
Kristy - I appreciate your honesty...you're right - it needs a new ending, for sure. I'm gonna take you and Feter's suggestions back to the drawing board over the weekend and repost. Thanks again!

Very creative!
Interesting combination of instruments. Has a very direct and engaging energy from beginning to the end. A few ideas, since this kind of music is right up my alley - I'd go easy on the bass 'hit' (listen to MissChaos's Finding Satori, more pronounced but only used to accentuate). Also, you've got a great sound going (nice use of the staccato bass and strings overall!) and with all that, the piano gets lost, maybe you don't even need it. Either that or bring it down an octave and make it louder. One thing I has hoping for was as 'middle part', relaxing the tension for a few bars, there you could just feature the guitar for rhythm and give the beat a short rest, gives the listener a break in intensity. Then when you re-introduce the main theme, it'll have more impact once again. All just ideas. Solid work though. Very eloquent and enjoyable!

Thank you...
Thank you so much Parichayaka...I totally appreciate you taking the time to give me all these wonderful suggestions. I'm so new to this - sometimes I just don't hear things a trained ear would normally hear. I will certainly work on Energizer some more and also check out MissChaos's Finding Satori!

Yes, the end is abrupt, but you can always revisit that. The overall tune is Excellent.

Ideas
I myself always envisioned writing soundtracks and will post something in the near future. That being said, the loops are definately limited, regardless of what programs utilized. do you use midi keyboards and use sounds or use actual synth sounds as well? To incorporate with loopps would fix the issues mentioned. Very nice mood though. Feels like it was off the new Dark Night soundtrack. Good effort.

TracyVosh said 34 days ago
Yup
I agree the loops are limited and no, no keyboard incorporated as of yet but I am working on that. It will make a world of difference once I can implement some real instruments into my tracks! Your feedback is much appreciated Jay...thank you!

thank u 4 the feedback
talk about nice kick ins, I wasn't expecting such hardcore drums. Caught me by surprise. Very nice! I could actually see me flowing some machine gun rapps over it and death metal sreaming.

Ha
Thanks fireater...that's funny. I like surpises. That's one reason I really liked yours so much - the change in mood caught me by surprise. So yeah...bring it on!

Groove and suspense
TV,
You can certainly get a lot out of loops. I bet you would just soar if you had a keyboard and Software Instruments. I have Garitan Personal Orchestra and I would recommend it for great orchestral samples. A few caveats, it takes gobs of memory so make sure you have at least 2Meg in your machine. Also its not cheap, I think I paid about $200 for mine. There are any number of good MIDI keyboards around and most electronic keyboards do MIDI and can be used with Garage Band. You are very talented and should feed that talent.

Aah!
Thank you again Stephen...I actually am long-term borrowing a keyboard from a friend of mine but it's a monster to learn, way too many options, it's been overwhelming to say the least. But, I think I'm ready to just dive full on into it - I'm ready to create my own sounds, ya know and get away from the prefabbed loops (well, they are useful). Thank you for checking me out and I look forward to checking out your page when I get home!!
