Suspenseful Great use of loops. The ending is a little bit of a let down. (although the loop libraries are part of that problem). A big long chord, as Feter suggests is one way, or just build volume and then end on a staccato chord. |

Thanks Kristy - I appreciate your honesty...you're right - it needs a new ending, for sure. I'm gonna take you and Feter's suggestions back to the drawing board over the weekend and repost. Thanks again! |

Very creative! Interesting combination of instruments. Has a very direct and engaging energy from beginning to the end. A few ideas, since this kind of music is right up my alley - I'd go easy on the bass 'hit' (listen to MissChaos's Finding Satori, more pronounced but only used to accentuate). Also, you've got a great sound going (nice use of the staccato bass and strings overall!) and with all that, the piano gets lost, maybe you don't even need it. Either that or bring it down an octave and make it louder. One thing I has hoping for was as 'middle part', relaxing the tension for a few bars, there you could just feature the guitar for rhythm and give the beat a short rest, gives the listener a break in intensity. Then when you re-introduce the main theme, it'll have more impact once again. All just ideas. Solid work though. Very eloquent and enjoyable! |

Energizer Horror/Thriller Yes, the end is abrupt, but you can always revisit that. The overall tune is Excellent. |

Ideas I myself always envisioned writing soundtracks and will post something in the near future. That being said, the loops are definately limited, regardless of what programs utilized. do you use midi keyboards and use sounds or use actual synth sounds as well? To incorporate with loopps would fix the issues mentioned. Very nice mood though. Feels like it was off the new Dark Night soundtrack. Good effort. |

Groove and suspense TV, You can certainly get a lot out of loops. I bet you would just soar if you had a keyboard and Software Instruments. I have Garitan Personal Orchestra and I would recommend it for great orchestral samples. A few caveats, it takes gobs of memory so make sure you have at least 2Meg in your machine. Also its not cheap, I think I paid about $200 for mine. There are any number of good MIDI keyboards around and most electronic keyboards do MIDI and can be used with Garage Band. You are very talented and should feed that talent. |

i actually really liked it and thought it was pretty intense. It would fit in either a horror or action scenario...Good stuff you've got a good ear!
