Description For all interested in what the ZOOM H2 can accomplish, I recorded a short snippet with my better guitar, the Furch D24.

The zoom is located about 20 cm in front of the guitar about where neck meets body.

Cool
I wish it is longer, maybe around 3-4 minutes, so I can jammed along with the song.. cool guitar ...

Great sound!
I'm saving my pennies... :-)

lavalamp said 67 days ago
That's it!
I'm getting a Zoom. You've convinced me.

By the way, outstanding playing.I agree with segiperkasa, wish it were longer.

longer
Thank you. I'll post longer ones as soon as I've chosen from a lot of diverse recordings. It is fast to record with this new thing. Takes time to sort out which are the best parts...

That sounds amazing!
I wish I could afford one of these! My son is taking guitar class and it would be cool to record some of those sessions!

Johannes!
Great playing as usual, if a bit short.

But the H2 caught my eyes immediateley. We've just got a few of them at work - you know where;-) - to record interviews, and they seem awsome. I hope I may use one of them to get some samples to work with in Logic. That would be great.

Actually we have got a great guitar player too who seems to be looking for recording equipment for his (classical?) guitar. Would you recommend this H2 or are there even better alternatives?

Thanks again! Stay well!

/Henrik

.
there are probably better alternatives, but in this price range (2000 SEK) I really don't think so...

I would advice your friend to bring his guitar and a set of good headphones to a music store and ask if he can make a test with a H2...

Lovely
Let me add my voice to the people calling for it to be longer! Sounds terrific - lovely sound and great playing. Sweet. Peace.

On the Zoom
I purchased one of these nearly a year ago. It has nearly replaced my $1000 Marantz PMD660/Rhode NT4 setup for mobile recording. The Zoom is 90% as good for 20% of the price (not to mention much smaller). I'm writing while I'm downloading. Can't wait to hear the track!

Short and sweet
Pretty amazing sounds from such a small device. Hope to hear a longer piece soon!

Warm
Well, it's a great sound, very impressive! But it only sounds great because you play great.

And, like Segi said, it would be nice to have this go on longer.

Vic Holman said 65 days ago
depth
great playing of course. you sure found a great spot to catch the whole tone of the guitar. nice!

Wow...
...that's a great sound. I want one (both the Zoom and the D24...)

Ejh said 64 days ago
Thanks, Johannes!
That's very clean, clear and natural...Zoom ought to bring out a CD of you, recorded on the H2, as a sales tool...

Guess THAT goes onto the Christmas wish list...

Mastery
It's a great demo of the Zoom and of you in a quick moment. I applaud your mastery of both right and left hands.
