repeat and rinse I've been curious about the boomerang. this is a cool example. i like all the sounds you brought in to this, and where it goes. |

Wow! That's something else. Really well put together, great sounds and clever cutting of the other tracks. Will there be a video of the actual performance as it sounds fascinating? Cheers Dick |

excellent love your experimental side. this is really outstanding, great sounds and the whole way that you put this together is really creative. i would be really happy if i wandered into a club and this is what i got. totally listenable in my opinion. may be time for another collab when you finish your current obligations. |

As soon as I saw the pic I knew the download button was in effect. the layering and timing seems like it might be a hard thing to master. I am glad I downloaded bec this is one of those songs that needs to be listened to more than once also its should be taken in as a whole. The progression leads the listener to its end. If you do this live with a drummer please record it and post I am very interested in hearing where this goes! excellent and thanks! |

Unlistenable? You're kidding? This is fascinating, drifting between playful and threatening, painting with exotic images and landscapes that are wall-to-wall. At first I was moving through a vast warm ocean full of starfish and weird unexplainable creatures as pale and luminous as hair.... then some frightened whales moved past, chilling the water with their fear. I wondered what was scaring them, and then this massive, oil-leaking sea tanker ship full of rust and petrolium sank down, poisoning the water as its engines continued to pound and clank as the huge rusty hulk sank past down into the dark depths. But then a tiny radio, still playing, drifted out of the vanishing wreckage and floated in the water, turning slowly in the murk, and as the shadowy tanker disappeared in the blackness below. And as the little radio played, the water began to clear, and the fishes and the starfish and the whales tentatively began to return, curious and drawn to the music. (Alas, for a brief moment I also saw Homer Simpson as a teenager driving a beat-up 70s car to high school while "Pick Up The Pieces" played. Man, that episode of the Simpsons has ruined that piece of music for me forever, I think!) Beautiful piece, this. Thanks for the visions. |

Wildly Creative That sort of Eastern sounding riff throughout has really got me. Even loved every bit of the fade out. I read how you did this but am really not much wiser - just think it sounds great. I too would love to hear the end result. Brilliant. Cheers Len |

This is one of the weirdest things... ...that I've thoroughly enjoyed... And I bet that if you stick with this, you could get something even cooler...And I bet you will... Ed |

Bud-ertronics I was totally digging that space cadet intro, and then it turned into something else entirely... I like the philosophy of this a lot, and understand your need to practice to make sure it works out OK when you finally commit in a public setting. Somehow, I can't shake the thought that if it DOESN'T work out, you'll pull it off anyway. Cheers, |
