Description This is a second chance for this bit of music. It was put together for my entry in a contest looking for alternative versions of one of my favorite podcast's theme music, and it didn't make the cut. I don't know why it didn't make it! I play banjo and the rest is all Logic software instruments. It was sort of my exploration of Ultrabeat.

Great contrast
between the banjo and the more 'out there' sounds. The mood is whimsical, but somehow hinting at a kind of majesty. Nice mix and lovely production, and nicely arranged. Nicely done. Peace.

Jim...
...I'm just sat here about to start a new song that needs an off-beat electro drum beat with bleeps at the beginning and this is it! Great stuff - in all seriousness this has been an inspiration.

Overall a cute piece of music, which I've just played back to back twice - something that rarely happens!

cool mix of a variety of sounds. a nice little experimentation that made for an interesting listen.

excellent
love this, a perfect theme song actually. that mix of electronics and banjo is really great. do you ever listen to sufjan stevens? he is big on the banjo (a rare commodity these days). great track Jim.

What a pairing
The electronic sounds with a folky instrument like the banjo. Never say it can't be done - especially at the hands of a master.
I just noticed the google ads on this page are for banjos. maybe I'll click through.

all's well
This has just has a great feel to it. As a theme, the contrast of traditional and electronic, is almost like an advertisement to draw in new MacJamers, beckoning all musical interests to participate in this creative collective for the ear canals of this world.
