You have such a light touch...
Enrique that works perfectly this sweet and very lyrical piece.
Lovely!
Best,
Charlie

Hello Charlie!
I am glad you stopped and listened.

Lilting and lovely
I see you're using Ivory, but I still can't believe that this is not a small acoustic grand piano. You have such a relaxed feeling to this. It sounds like the feelings are just pouring out, and you are channeling them through the piano for our benefit. Thank you!

Enrique Gil said 94 days ago
Ivory is wonderful
I know Paul Page and others use it as well as Akoustic Piano, which is supposed not to hog as much computer power as Ivory. I think I'll stick with ivory and may purchase the Italian piano add on which is supposed to be wonderful too.

paul f. page said 94 days ago
Don't know why....
...my earlier comment didn't stick.
This is the best playing and the best composition I've heard from you, Enrique. It is well-crafted, and the performance is controlled and expressive. You are apparently feeling comfortable with your new "piano" and making it sound natural in all registers. A definite download as I would like to listen to this lovely piece a good number of times.
Peace.
Paul

Thank you Paul
your comments mean a lot, coming from somebody like you. And thank you fro introducing me to Ivory. How do you compare the Italian piano to the German Steinway?

Man I am having so much fun!
when I have the time to sit down and let the fingers do the walking. I worked this weekend but have a few minutes to spare and feed the soul.

regulus said 94 days ago
As with all
great pieces of music there is something that seems so familiar and enjoyable about them. This has that quality with it.
Your articulation and delivery are appreciated.

Enrique Gil said 94 days ago
Thank you my friend....
I am happy to hear you enjoyed it.

drakonis said 94 days ago
The simple feelings...
they are the most important and the strongest. Enrique, you certainly have a gift, able to translate this simple feeling into music for the rest of us to share. This flows beautifully from beginning to end, and conveys a "love of life" kind of feeling. It probably helps to live in a really beautiful part of the world up there... very pretty sunset picture. The way you play this, and the Ivory software, combine to make a gorgeous recording.
ttfn,
Drakonis

Amazing...
...how a song, played straight from the heart, can create so many images for the listener.

Thank you, Enrique...this is wonderful.

Hi Bob!
Thank you for your kind words. The truth is, when everything goes wrong, music uplifts the heart.

Exquisite playing, Enrique
The notes just flow so easily from your fingertips. This is such a sweet piece of music. Whimsical, free, with a bit of introspection for good measure. I enjoyed this a lot.:-)

Like a prayer
There is nothing like pouring your heart out over your keyboard, is there...

And having done so, you have given all of us a glimpse inside, both of you and of ourselves. That's quite a gift. Thank you, Enrique.

Thank you for listening.

I enjoy
the feeling of how you install musical flavors of the greats in your style. In a romantic classical way. I wish I could hear more of this style. I love the classical retro feel and putting your own soul into it.

Thanks for sharing

oooh
to be able to play like this! such a beautiful touch and phrasing its a joy to listen to. I am sitting here enjoying my morning cup of java and this is simply the best way to start a new day : listening to this! It frames my day! lovely melodic progression. very tastful

My one regret
in life is that I never learned piano; I think it's one of the most wonderful abilities anyone could have and you play as though you were born to it. This is a lovely piece of music that just flows and meanders in a lovely way, regards M
