Very..
nice and smooth. This is about nine minutes too short, and would definitely be something worth diving right into as a larger venture.
The production is very nice and clean too.

rsorensen said 94 days ago
too short
thanks man - yeah I was going to throw a couple of chord changes in there and do an organ solo but I ran outta time. I'll preobably revisit this again. Thanks for listening

craft said 94 days ago

Cool
Lovely groove with some really nice playing. Nice organ sound, and lovely percussion, too. I really like the bass - nice melodic playing that really complements the groove. A tribute to your talent that this is what you put together quickly! Nice one. I hope to see this developed further. Thanks for sharing. Peace.

rsorensen said 94 days ago

Wow!
I love this piece. Very nicely put together with wonderful 70's organ and great electric guitar. The guitar at times reminds me a little of Santana playing blues!

rsorensen said 94 days ago

thanks very much!

regulus said 94 days ago
Quick and sweet
Most people have a cup of coffee before they go off to work. This presents another get you go'en media that works for me. Be nice to hear a little longer version of this.

Say, how did you get the guitar to sound like and organ?" :-)

rsorensen said 94 days ago

glad this gets you going! definitely extending this one. thanks for listening

magnatone said 94 days ago
street corner sermon
this is GREAT rid - my only complaint is that it needs to be a lot longer!

rsorensen said 94 days ago
thanks karen
you got it. i'll work on section 2 tonight

lengold said 94 days ago
That was a
surprise, but I should know that you can turn your hand to anything. Great authentic sounding rock - looking forward hearing to some more.
Cheers
Len

davisamerica said 94 days ago
way nice keys
and guitar work ..... very nice groove ... once again bass and lead work ... very nice

Karmatoburn said 93 days ago
before work
so I understand correctly, you ripped this off before work one day? you're startin to freak me out :-) its insanely groovy. Love the syncopation, the lo fi drums and bass. The guitar sizzles. Hope its the start of something longer. Much longer.

kravitz-esque (thats 12 on my kool barometer)

michael2 said 93 days ago
excellent
very 60's feeling. really great choice on the drums, wish it had gone on for a lot longer. kind of reminded me of the band of gypsies. if you go back to it, find someone with a really soulful voice who can belt this out and make it loooong. awesome track.

Lennon714 said 93 days ago
wow
Again you show off how eclectic your tastes are. Very well done. The sirens came in right after I was thinking how much I felt like watching a 70's cop drama. Could be the opening sequence music for sure!

Relic67 said 92 days ago
cool
this sounds cool and amazing. by coincidence I was listening to booker t and the mgs today and this fits right in. A short drum break and/or bridge dropped into the middle could finish it off perfectly without necessarily extending the time too much, methinks.

The siren sound would also put it in the category of "songs that freak me out when I listen to them in the car". along with stones "country honk" with the &^*&%'ing loud car horn sound. LOL

Cool piece
I'm not usually a fan of heavily distorted drums, but they work OK in this piece. Nice playing and a great title. Maybe the title and my imagining the fire and brimstone from the streetcorner preacher that makes the drums work for me.

racerat said 91 days ago
funky!
Nice whammy lil jammy here R. Just dashed this off before work? Stellar!
