WOW ... Michael's intro was SO SO fitting here ... really great and I was rapt while listening to the story here .... what is ironic is this ... today I had to drive to an appointment downtown .. and took the OLD route through what is known as the "downtown eastside" .. its where the drug addicted and mentally ill live on the street .. I was SHOCKED by the numbers .... I used to drive this route all the time years ago .. and could NOT believe my eyes at the condition of the crumbling (what used to be majestic beautiful old buildings) ... and how many people were sleeping on the streets and conducting their business .... and those numbers keep growing .... it felt like a totally different planet to me ... I wish they would tear all those old crumbling rotting buildings down and build appropriate housing for these people. Ok back to the song ... luv Char's little who hooo's sprinkled throughout. And of course I was already a fan of Doadar's Uncle's original tune. |

track6 "we offered them leases" Doaders Uncle has long time been a favorite of mine as well as michael2. When I first heard "This City" by Doug it was a "YES" moment and when he consented to come on board with us it was a "HELL YES" moment ... ahem. Needless to say all of us got tripped out by being able to play along on this fantastic tune. Alannah and Char add such sultry steamy ambience to this. We asked michael2 to give us some commentary and tho being very busy he did and it provided the perfect intro. Michael has helped me out in the past and cannot say enough about him. Outtaorbit's guitar, I think is perfect here. Eddie Fliess helped engineer the backing effects and much thanks to him. |

you know it's going to take me forever to get through this rock opera Big Finish. It's an honor to be a part of this. Jack asked me to do a little bit of talking about my experience, and I just turned the mic on and rambled for a few minutes (I could go on for hours about this topic). i hadn't heard the song at all, and only got to listen after the fact (which was a great surprise). so anyways, i thought i had commented, but apparently i didn't. for the record, this would be an amazing song in any context, but it's really fitting in the context provided. only thing is the sound of my speaking voice makes me cringe. great job guys. |

Luvitluvit!!!!!! Great song with overflow of talent. I make no apologies. I'm going to steal this song! (If I make a buck, I guess I'll share it.) Fine, fine work. Terry. |

yes They have nowhere to go. In the bible Jesus said..."The poor are always with us." He didn't say. "Don't stop trying to help." |
