great tune Heavy, thrilling and chilling intoxication of music. Exciting sound textures and production. Top job. You made that fender work hard to make that sound, love it. |

Awesome! Battlestar is hands down my favorite show of all time. This song COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY does it justice. So say we all! |

Cool. And by cool, I mean totally sweet. This song has a really interesting arrangement. I like the way the song twists and turns and keeps the listener guessing. I think there are a few transitions that are *a bit* disjointed and could be smoothed out, but overall it is a compelling song structure. The intro was the hardest part for me to wrap my head around, but I just loved the change to the "Will gods listen to a machine" melody. Almost beatles-esque caught in the middle of some true sonic mayhem. I will need to listen to it several more times to really get the changes down in my head. At to Battlestar Galactica... I haven't seen the new version myself but have many friends who I consider to have good taste who are diehard fans. I really need to check it out... but I basically have cut my TV watching down to an occasional sporting event and HOUSE. Oh, and how in the world did you manage to record that outro without your strings going massively out of tune. If I detune more than a 1/2 step I have problems keeping in tune throughout a track, even if I'm not doing huge bends like you are in this one. anyways... great job as always. I'm a big fan of your versatility (but you already knew that, did you :). Mason |
