Description One of the earlier things I wrote on GB but didn't have any lyrics so I used a poem my missus had written and it fitted perfectly. It's about people who go out to pubs and bars on a weekend with the sole intention of having a punch-up.
I put it under 'Rock' genre but I'm not sure that's the right category. To me it sounds like The Cult meet Santana in a brightly lit chip shop and go a bit mad.

	Cool Love the rhythm track and the shaker running through it. Very Nick Cave/Gallon Drunk. Very dark track - good interplay between the choppy gutars and the parts where you leave some space and just let the drums and bass get on with it. The acoustic rhythm that comes in half way through works well. I agree, the lyrics fit pretty well. And the ending is perfect! Really enjoyed this - Phil

	Jukebox WOW ..this is hot kind a rockin ..the sound so smokey the guitars feel so great ..the vagabound drums beat just way too cool ..I m enjoyin this so ...thnx alot for sharin !!!!

The Cult Meet Santana
I can hear that. This song is a real rough and ready rocker. The strumming guitar sound drives the tune with those "vagabond" drums/shakers. I also like the darkness of it all. That lead riff is perfect for this tune. Simple and effective. I bet your wife is proud of how you took her lyrics and made a great song out of 'em. Your vocals and backups are spot on.

Another really killer track from you man! It must be why they call you King Bee!

	Queen Bee Maybe she should get her own account and..... naw.... One rock star per family is probably best! Start flipping through her poetry and work as a team on your next tune. This was a really great song because of your team effort.

This is magnificent!
I like a lot! Your missus writes a bloody good lyric, man! I love the builds, the overall driving beat and your voice!

This is not a complaint - I wish it was just a bit longer as I was really getting my head bopping thing going when it ended!

I'll give you my best comment - downloaded and straight to iPod. It doesn't get better than that.

	Thank you My missus has been given a boost of confidence about her writing by your and others comments..and is threatening to give up work and be a full time scribe. I totally get it...
The lyrics paint a dark picture - and knowing the type of situation being described (coming from the Mean City of Glasgow) then it makes an ugly but exceptionally insightful snapshot of that pub moment directly before it all breaks loose. The line "he feeds the fake musician" is a stunner and I can visualize the coins clanking into the slot of the jukebox; him choosing a deliberately provocative song, like a 70s football chant or something obnoxious like a hard core punk track. The line sets the scene amazingly well and it's that concise, sharp, observational wording that captures the menacing arena for me.

Hey, I liked this one. Lyrics and music fit nicely, though I wished it could have been longer.

I've never been one to go out and look for a Punch-up and wondered if people really do that, or if the drink has just gone to their head, making them a little more sensitive to criticism.

I've been hitting a blues club lately on a regular basis to just enjoy the music. This tune would fit in nicely.

	Punch up I've been to lots of blues clubs and there's always been a great vibe there..but if you ever come to the UK I can take you to a few bars where that's what the feeling is....unfortunatley. Thanks for dropping by and glad you liked it
