Squeezed a Bit Of...
Stephen Stills into this, but managed to take it in some unusual and interesting places.

I wonder what some complementary double-time lead part might sound like on top of this? Hmm... ;)

Thank you J.A.

You know I am susceptible to references to Mr. Stephen Stills. Thanks a lot for your comment!

Ah, tastes like Curry...
The lingering ringing of the strings, and the strong tumbling dancing of your fingers, creates gorgeous music, as always. Wonderful playing and recording. Good to see you back here... hope all is going well for you and your sweetie.

Drakonis

I really like
the natural, unhurried and intimate sound of acoustic guitar. It is lovely to hear the sounds of your skillful plucking and strumming. Thank you.

SWEEEEET sounds
Wait, did Steven Stills join macjams?

Love this piece, fantastic playing, fantastic tones and emotions coming out of this.

Cori Ander said 101 days ago
Yes
Yes, when I was young (early 70-s) Stephen Stills was a great idol for me .. maybe the only real grand musical hero I ever had .. so you spotted it so right ..

Thanks you also J.A.Stewart -- because still today I somewhat flattered when someone draw references to Mr. Stills.. :)

Great aural field!
The wood does have a nice voice; I think the voice coach must be outstanding;-). Real pleasure this one, Mr. Cori, as are most of yours, but this one's texture is nearly tactile, great job and great production to let me hear those magic fingers.

Joe

Wow
That was great to hear as I dig so much the sound of wood myself! Thank you!

Welcome back Johannes
Joe is correct in his Stills reference. You sound as though you have a slightly more aggressive attack on this than a lot of your earlier posts Curry. Its so good to hear the beautiful sound of your playing again. The Yamaha sounds so good - hard to believe they are nylon strings.

Great post!!

Best wishes from Australia!

Thnxalot Neil for your warm welcome back!

Well actually those strings are made from different materials - nylon and metals. Different strings have different materials. But they are thin enough to be used on a nylon type guitar without causing damage..

guitapick said 100 days ago
Great sound, Johannes...
...that AG Stomp is a great interface. Very much like the sound of a straight mic. Very, very impressive.

Big, big sound from that Yamaha...

Strong track...glad to hear from you, again.

Thank you Guita! Same to you!

Tuning?
Kind of that Jimmy Page acoustic thing. (Special tuning, no doubt.)

I really respect your talent.

You're awesome.

Thank you Lava!

Well I use dropped D tuning, (which I use for most of what I do).

Music sweetness...
Curry, you sure make nylon strings sing! Wow, my ears are loving this. Simply beautiful acoustic magic. Why are the JP strings strange? They sure sound wonderful here! :-)

thoddi said 99 days ago
felt something missing...
So I'll add a little thoddi;)

Nice to hear that familiar sound from your guitar. You make it sing in a way I've only heard you do. I wonder if you bend the neck while you play? It sometimes sounds like there is a vibrato arm on your acoustic;) It's very cool. The Cori Ander signature sound!

Cori Ander said 94 days ago
Added a little thoddi;)
That was exactly what was needed here! Kempegrejt!

TEXASFEEL said 96 days ago
Sorry I didn't get here sooner
As always you play wonderful music. What did you tune the guitar too? Those nylon strings sound very metallic and carry a nice tone. Enjoyed this very much.

John

TEXASFEEL said 96 days ago
Did I mention
That Lime is one of my favorites.

Cori Ander said 94 days ago
Dropped D
Standard dropped D tuning, (which I use for more than 90% of the time, probably even more than 95%).

wow what a deep, rich, warm sound you have here. i know it isn't sounds like a koa weissenborn, which I love. I liked Lime Green Thoddi. but i LOVE this. Great playing as usual and the sound is outstanding.

great
Glad I took the time today to catch up with your playing Mr Curry. Another excellent guitar workout. The tone you get from those strings is wonderful on the ears.

Depth
You messing around is better than me planning for months to do acoustic music that carries the depth yours does. Damn fine!

DBrown said 20 days ago
Pure Tone
The sound from your acoustics are breathtaking.
I love the overall melody and chord progressions.
What blows me away is how crystal clear all of it is.

Love this
The beauty of improv is the unpredictable journey it takes you on. The directions you choose and the decisions you make once you get there. Beautifully done Cori. you're an inspiration.
