Complete Production Henri This is a very cool Jazz piece you built around that dastardly loop. Love the whole thing, but the piano really shines for me. he disjointed parts near the end are unusual to be sure, but in this case they seem to work really well. Excellent piece of work here Henri, thanks for sharing. Ed |

Complex You take the simple loop and build a complex modern jazz sound with it. And you make it sound so natural, like all these notes were somehow hidden in the loop to start with. Cool small orchestra sound with the saxes, strings and flute sound taking interesting turns. Thanks Bill |

well... with fingers as nimble as that how could you go wrong LOL. I love simple robot like naivety of the bass and drum opposed to the complex variety of the piano and other keyboard instruments you play, regards M |

LOL... ...doesn't sound so simple to me...but it DOES sound fantastic! I'm very into this, Henri...the bass and percussion create a very wide open sound which your right hand is having waaaay too much fun playing over. ;) |

Truly creative You bring a great musical sensibility to this, working with the notes of the loop to create something that goes beyond the progression. Lovely, imaginative playing, and some really sweet touches on the piano, and then when the horns come in - wow! I love the arrangement. Very cool. Nicely done. Peace. |

And here is the ultimate deception When this little jewel is launched, the Dr. won't know what hit him. Total chaos will reign in his brain as it stews in it's own juices from a complete system overload. Very effective, and very deadly to the Dr. CSP |

Zappa would love this ...wow. I wish I could paint a picture of just how artful and entrancing this is. I couldn't imagine something jazzy and disjointed linking up with that crazy-simple loop, but this works beautifully. I couldn't describe how, and the grin on my face doesn't worry about why - this is just one big slap of brilliance across the loop. |

I love this.. but... no matter how much it inspired what you played, that loop doesn't deserve to be a part of this awesome tune.... |

Well this certainly surprised me Its been said before, however I am going to say it again. I love these challanges because you get to hear so many ideas on one theme. This track certainly is completely different to anything I have heard so far, its great. Very original music, well done. By the way, I loved Egypt, beautiful country and seeing the pyramids was a dream come true. |

that's just funk'd up Loose as a goose flyin on the keys, the woodwind right before 2 minutes just knocked me out of my chair Really cool piece, I forgot all about that loop . - Harold |

Endangered, indeed! I love the 'controlled chaos' of this piece, and the way the colors shift and change around the constant loop in a vibrant flurry. The dissonance and departure at the end is particularly nice! Nothing predictable about this! Fantastic production, too. Thanks for sharing :) |

Just fantastic stuff here.the transition from the loop into the saxes then strings is just spectacular. Is a little Zappa like- St. Alphonso's Pancake Breakfast. The loop kind of adds an element of humor.Someday I hope to learn to play dissonant lines like that on the guitar! |

Genius I love the section that moves from the potent saxes to the melancholy, heart-twisting strings. This goes in such unpredictable, fascinating directions and I admire what you've created here SO much, Henri. (L) |

Amazing piano work but then that's no surprise from you. Great way to work off the loop like he's a member of the band stuck in a groove while the rest of you work magic to keep it changing. Really excellent - love the sax work too and all your voice choices. |

nice trip i love the opening chords you chose to comp the loop. i didn't quite understand the bass line though - but that's OK. the piano lead is great fun - tons of energy there! the horns came in as a welcome surprise. my, it's getting thick and dark now. and now we're leveling off - skimming over a lake at dawn perhaps... to finally soar into the sky thanks |

Amazing what you've done with this. The playing is brilliant and using the loop as more of a rhythm instrument really works. Wonderfully inventive with nice changes of texture. Almost a little Messien like in the strings against the piano I thought. Cheers Dick |

hello! This is just great! True musicianship at it's finest! |

The persistence of the loop against the counter melody of the bass line and the free form melodies of the additional instruments is really engaging.
I feel as if I am the one who stops and smells the roses and the garbage as the rest of the city folks just keep moovin' along.
