Description Extensive use of the original, unmodified loop. I had the lyrics for a while, and the rest just fell together as I listened to the loop.
Lyrics Let's go for a run in the car
Tired of the city, don't have to go far
Go for a drive, in the country

It's time for a drive to a beautiful place
Let's escape the mad rat race
Go for a drive, in the country

You get the shovel and I'll sweep the yard
Fill the black bags, it ain't really hard
Put all the rubbish in the back of the truck
Drive to a beauty spot, what the fuck

We're goin' fly tipping, fly tipping
Dump our trash then run and hide
Fly tipping, fly tipping,
Desecrate the countryside

You keep lookout and I'll unload
Chuck it in the hedge by the side of the road
This bag's split, oh never mind
We're leaving all our crap behind

Dump your fridge in the local park
Nobody see you if you do it in the dark
You know it's bad and you never did ought
but it's aint against the law if you don't get caught

We're goin' fly tipping, fly tipping
Dump our trash then run and hide
Fly tipping, fly tipping,
Desecrate the countryside

To get here we passed two landfill sites
With a truck full of old unsightly shite
To recycle there would be a sin
They charge two bucks just to let you in

So we'll carry on up to the local wood
Dump it all here? I think we should
We don't care about nature and shit
We're happy to just be rid of it

We're goin' fly tipping, fly tipping
Dump our trash then run and hide
Fly tipping, fly tipping,
Desecrate the countryside

Let's go for a run in the car
Tired of the city, don't have to go far
Go for a driv,e in the country

It's time for a drive to a beautiful place
Let's escape the mad rat race
Dump all our crap, in the country

Dump our crap, in the country

Dump our crap, in the country

Warped
Catchy use of the loop. Kind of warped lyrics. Where I live you would have to drive a long way to find a quiet enough spot to fly tip. The quietest place might be the entrance to the landfill, which is free to residents anyway.

Thanks
Bill

Thanks
I was feeling pretty warped when the idea came along...someone dumped a load of stuff at the bottom of my street, the day after the refuse collectors had been round. Swines.

announcer said 103 days ago
interesting
Seems like you picked out the same bass sound (trance bass I think) that I used in my song.

Great fun lyrics!

wurzel said 102 days ago
Trance Bass
I quite like it, I think it's the echo effect. And the echo's keep speed with the tempo of the track.

announcer said 101 days ago
that is one of the things I like
about garage band. It figures out what the tempo is and sets the delay for the echos to work with that tempo. A person can change it if he/she wants but the default is always a good place to start and easier than figuring what it should be for an eighth or quarter note.

I Can't say I like the theme
but the lyrics are actually quite good my friend. And you use of the loop works perfectly for this song. Great job of making a silk purse out of a sows ear. Great vocal too Chris.

Considering the subject matter of the song, the artwork is also perfect. excellent job my friend.

It's
quite an emotive theme, but I deal with it in the only way I can; by being light hearted. There's too much negativity in the world, and I fight back with humour :-)

Skean said 103 days ago
Nice rhythm
I like the rhythm as the lyrics you have in there... Cheers

wurzel said 102 days ago
Another loop
The rhythm is "80s pop beat 10" (or something like that). Sort of a double cheese sandwich

WillyB said 103 days ago
funny!
..there's some serious character in this one..and a not-so-serious character behind the music. Love it!

wurzel said 102 days ago
Damn
you've got me sussed. That's my analyst fired :-)

Always Loved Tunes...
...that could marry serious topics or messages with a chirpy song - a tricky bit of work, but when it works it's unforgettable. (Monty Python's "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" from 'Life Of Brian, for example)

I love the light, bouncy tone of the song counterpointing the indifference of the damage these characters are doing - each seems to underscore the point the other is making. Nicely done indeed.

Thanks
I thought it'd be a difficult one to do.
And as John Cleese said in Fawlty Towers - "I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it"

CaptSloParts said 102 days ago
And the Dr says "A mild distraction"
Not quite, but he can go ahead and think that if he likes. The cost will be very dear if he does, because this particular weapon can have devastating effect on the Dr's plans for the Karaoke Park

Very well executed and extremely effective.

Thanks
Captian. Nut it's not as well executed as the Evil Dr. will be when we get him!

LOL, brilliant
Love the reggae feel to the track, and the lyrics are very good, certainly made me laugh only because of your joking manner about a subject that is very serious. I get very upset when I see that people have done fly tipping. Cool, well made track.

wurzel said 102 days ago
Cheers
I seem to be getting more reggae influence in my music (comes from drinking in a Jamaican pub I reckon). It pisses me off to see piles of junk too. Me and some friends go out once a month and clear stuff up, wish more people would join in

ok ..... finally ....
.. after listening to a number of submissions ... I think I am actually able to hear the "loop" in question .. but am STILL so totally in AWE of how each person has used it differently ... and how amazingly different each tune so far has come out .... I like the quirky quickness of this tune .... great job on the fast paced vocals !

wurzel said 102 days ago
It
did leave me a bit out of breath at the end (one take). Perhaps I should have slowed the track down a bit!

Rocha Malhada said 102 days ago
Even, fag butts
Litterbugs make me sick; it's just Lazy

People have become so immune to their own deeds, it's sick.

I would say this is quite the fun tune, but you touch a subject that pisses me off... :)

. - Harold

wurzel said 102 days ago
It's
an emotive subject, I know. I hope I dealt with it in a way that doesn't cause any offense; like I mentioned in another comment above, I and some friends try and do a bit by going out as and tidying some of the mess up.

regulus said 102 days ago
Multicomplexius
tune you have here. Most enjoyable and poinnent to the green controversy at large. You would freak mightily were you to take a tour through Mexico. Back to topic; you pretty covered the alphabet of musical genres here, from disco, trance and toped it of with British sea shanty vocals. Very imaginative. Good work.

Glad
you enjoy; thanks for the comments

michael2 said 101 days ago
cool
this is soo catchy, even if that damn loop is in there. for some reason this is reminding me of Blur (could be your voice). really glad to see you wrote a song with words around this thing. awesome job.

wurzel said 101 days ago
Blur?!
I thought I ended up sounding more like Jethro!
Glad you liked it, thanks for the comments

Hehe
Not only did I enjoy this, I learned something new too. I've never heard the expression "Fly Tipping". Thanks for the fun track and the edumacation :)

I'll add that with the prices for metals these days, it's less likely to find to find appliances and such getting dumped in open fields. Litterbugs suck, but you said it in such a very fun way here. Nice track!

bud said 100 days ago
I agree with Michael's Blur referrence
I also really dig the reggae meets country hoe-down feel. Excellent lyrics and singing.

SmokeyVW said 99 days ago
crap yes
great take-off on that loop. perfect lyrics. fits the loop to a tee.

thanks

Yeah
Know what you mean mate.
2 disco light boxes up in our local field where we go to watch the bats fly.
I think this should be the song for an info-mercial about fly tipping.
Great use of the loops too
Keep it clean, keep it green ;-)
