Interesting influences on this. It certainly has the rhythmic qualities of Can and a bit of Tones on Tail. Love those bands so a big thumbs up from me. Nothing worse than a sick child - hope they're feeling better soon. Peter |

Love the Xylophone ...and my head is definitely bobbing along, with a little sideways rhythm too. Love the smooth, terse and subtly sweet menace in the vocals... just a great track all the way around. Plinka Plinka Plinka Killer track Michael! I love it when you toss a few lyrics together and end up with a hit. Amazing. I hear so many great things in this song. Your vocals are the best. The plinka plinka plinka sound has me thinking of the Close To Me video with the Cure in the wardrobe falling off a cliff - Robert Smith is playing his comb (ask cjdaley about my video idea based on this) and your wicked guitar. follow the loop like a little dog I like the xylophone that follows the vocal melody and the backups that swell out from behind the vocals on the chorus. And of course the lyrics are down my alley. Would have been a lot of black shirts dancing to this at the all ages club in the 80's. |
