Description This is my band South of Saturn. I play guitar and sing backing vocals, I also wrote this song. Second Star To The Right is taken off our latest E.P, creatively named (New EP '08) alongside four other tunes. We recorded the whole thing in our "Shed" studio - which is actually a garden shed converted into a studio - using Logic Studio and a Macbook. If you like what you hear check us out at http://www.myspace.com/southofsaturnuk or just hang around macjams til I get round to uploading some more!
Lyrics A symbol
A gesture of our contentment
Not star crossed lover but allies
Please tell me what this means to you

Break down, step up
Another way to spend a day
in the view of
Another week, another year
another lifetime skimming free
and we claim that

Things change but souls remain
the same these thought were predetermined
How did I ever earn this name
Fake tan and hairspray sting the eyes
and you can see into what's left behind

Please tell me
Just what this means to you

Break down, step up
Another way to spend a day
in the view of
Another week, another year
another lifetime skimming free
and we claim that

Things change but souls remain
the same these thought were predetermined
How did I ever earn this name
Fake tan and hairspray sting the eyes
and you can see into what's left behind

Goodbye to Neverland
Farewell to you my friend
You always envied me for flying
And now that we look back
Along this beaten track
I'm taught how to regret nothing

Goodbye to Neverland
Farewell to you my friend
You always envied me for flying
And now that we look back
Along this beaten track
I'm taught how to regret nothing

Goodbye to Neverland
Goodbye to Neverland
Goodbye to Neverland
Goodbye to Neverland

Really great lyrics.
I especially like:
Goodbye to Neverland
Farewell to you my friend
You always envied me for flying
And now that we look back
Along this beaten track
I'm taught how to regret nothing

Sure you're only 18? Those are very wise words. Nice piece of music backing up the vocals. Thanks.

Bringing it
Incredible mix. I really enjoyed this song. The voice kind of reminded me of Getty Lee from Rush.

You guys rock.

Dig the band
Another great tune with prog leanings. Love the voice, the clarity in the arrangement. The entire track feels a bit covered over by a blanket, lacking the audio edge that makes it sound alive in my speakers; considering EQing out some mids and compressing for more volume and edge, especially the guitars, the bass drum, and the vocals. I totally dig your band and potential.
