Bill - listening to you stroke those strings is such a delight first thing in the morning, with a cup of fresh, hot coffee. Whenever I see that you've posted something new, I know it's going to be a treat for the ears, and this certainly was. thanks.......

Very nice
This is beautiful. The playing is so sweet, and the guitar sounds great. I love those harmonics, and the dynamic of the piece is terrific. Great melodic music. Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing this with us. Peace.

thoddi said 118 days ago
calm
It's almost like you sound a bit reflective in the way you play... It may be the careful way you're letting the tones flow from your guitar. This is a very pleasant listen - sounds warm, and its something I can close my eyes and sense a calm... like coming home:)

not only is this a relaxing song, but your playing itself sounds very relaxed as well. excellent composition. when i think about it, this could work on a piano note for note very effectively.

There is no place like home,
and this piece takes me there Bill. Soft and easy on the ears, rest lightly on the heart and doesn't clutter the mind. Sounds like home to me.

Great playing as always my friend. The mix is clean and as pure as a mothers love.

Thanks for posting this one Bill.

Be well and be cool,

Ed

wonderful!
Your playing and recording are as good as it gets on acoustic imho. Lovely tune. I enjoy your straight guitar songs best for sure - pure and simple.

Another gem by the maestro
Bill, your beautiful artistry continues to delight me and anyone else who hears the mastery of your instrument you've worked so long and hard to achieve. This song is just lovely. Everything you post here is a magnificent gift to this community. Thank you for your generosity.

Bill...
I made a point of listening to this one on speakers, and it really sounds full and clear, and like a real acoustic guitar...Very three dimensional...

You seem to me to have really mastered the realm of acoustic guitar recording that most suits your playing, and that's really the journey you embarked on... I'm sure you'll continue to develop as player and composer, but I think you've got your recorded sound down...

Quite the achievement...

Ed

Delightful
Simply delicious! A moment of pure fantasy and escape. I especially appreciate the lightness of arpeggios and harmonic richness of the coda.

Sublime
So reassuring to hear something like this - whenever talent and capacity are paired with calm, peaceful consciousness, you'll find these rare musical gems full of positive, heartfelt energy. Pure musical delight. Never thought I could enjoy listening to guitar music so much...thanks for that!
