There is only one way to get even and that is to show them that stealing your computer cannot steal your spirit, creativity, and beautiful talent. I have lost many things in life, stolen, broken, erased... and I feel so much for you... it is so hard to get up the energy and impetus to start the project over, and try to re-create what you have temporarily lost. But I hope you know that I for one always enjoy *whatever* you share... it is always touching and personal, this song is no exception. It has that elegant MissChaos touch, and is worth re-building from the ashes of loss. I am delighted to see you back here again, but am also very upset to hear about your loss. Very Sorry... that you have been violated. Often times, life isn't fair. At least you and your family are alive and safe. As for the lost music files, computer etc., those things can be replaced. Humans are a bit harder to re-create. I don't mean to minimise your anger and frustration Miss C, but worse things could have happened and I am very sorry for your loss. I am confident that with your amazing talents, you will be able to finish this track as well as many more. Thanks so much for sharing this partially finished song with us. Yuuuuummmmyyyy! Great thought given to the timbre of the percussion instruments. Really nice blend of tones in the ambient and harmony voices. Terrific sense of space and depth. An emotional state captured in sound. To quote a current quip from one of the political candidates: "Its not how often you get knocked down that matters, its how quickly you get back up." Be angry. Stolen Incredible sounds here. This has a total Ulrich Schnauss feel to me (hope you take that as a compliment!). Ohhhh.... That story gets me pissed. And I was already less than my happy and smiling best... And I really like this. I think one of the things that goes on for me with your stuff is that I like how you think, musically. You step off the beaten path without sounding like, 'Hey, here I go, I'm steppin' off the beaten path now, y'all...' I like how you use rhythm at slow tempos, and how a lot of slow harmony adds up to a sense of melody... I don't have any sense of 'lack' about this apparently early and unfinished iteration, except, I guess, the ending... Sorry to take so long to hear it. It's great to hear your music again, though. Hang in there. I am very sorry to hear about your troubles. That is real shame. The track works pretty well as is except for the abrupt ending but I am sure that could be edited. Nice work on the synth and drum programming. If you still have the capability you should continue to produce your music. Perhaps channel that anger into a new song. |

Amazing Composition Wow, this is the type of music I've been planning to try out, but for some reason I always end up producing faster songs. I totally feel for you and what you've gone through. This is one of my worst fears and I can not even imagine having someone steal my master files! I back up like crazy but that's only good if the backup drive can't be stolen.
