Prog duet
Very cool post-Jethro Tull feel. Kind of a home-made demo sound; I would like more bass (not more bass guitar, but more low end in the entire mix), more highs on the drums, more depth over all, less mids that make the track kind of tinny (especially with the Marshall amp style distortion), and less sense of a small room (especially on the snare). But the rhythmic groove is great fun and the heavy metal prog melody is very cool. I dug it.

Cheers for the comments!
Hey,
Firstly, the song was recorded live after 2 rehearsals, so the guitars aren't looped, it's all live in a 1 take rush (we had 1 hour to record, mix, master and bounce it)! :)
This is a rough demo, however - so i apologize for the unmixed feel. I appreciate the pointers though, TobinMueller - It' great to get feedback!

Great band.
And an excellent composition. Very powerful. I'm a sucker for a female lead voice over a heavy groove. Fix this up and it could become a real tour de force. Listen to Tobin. He is wise.

Some great force on the songwriting front there.
