Description This is a song I wrote years ago when playing in a band called Jealousy Screams. I had forgotten about it - but it came to me when strumming the guitar one day - so I re-recorded it. Let me know what you think.

It's good to be back on here.

Cheers!

Very cool singing my friend ...I dig the opening ...
the song has a great bass line ..is that a flanger?
on the guitar ..I dunno its much more into Art Rock
rather than Alt/Rock ..realy nice and thoughtful ..
thnx alot for sharin !!!!

LunaTrick said 124 days ago
Prob right about genre..
I'm so confused these days. It is a flange - People say I'm stuck in the 80s but I love the old flange!

Rebsie said 136 days ago
Good to see you back
Enjoyable song and worth re-recording. Your voice goes well with anything, but as Feter says, the flangey guitar makes a good backdrop.

Thanks Rebs...
Getting a comment from you makes it all worthwhile. Thanks so much for listening!

NICELY done
beautiful voice, really laid back setting. Reminds me of Bowie. Bass has a rich groove to it too. You write some amazing tunes, i would love to be able to have a voice like that. Cheers

Thanks Tokai

smoooth
i really like this. your voice works well on this, and the guitar and bass are supportive, but not intrusive. i didn't notice drums at all (were there any?)

the chords really caught my interest - nice

thanks

Hey Smokes...
Luv your stuff - so this is an enjoyable compliment indeed. To be honest, the chords are open Es up and down the neck. I came up with it in my immature days - but did throw in a different break!

Interesting
I didn't expect this. This is quite a good tune, man. Glad you could post it.

Hi Daniel.......
This is an all-round, great sounding song.

I really like the phrasing and way you've put this together. It has something about it that stands out from the run of the mill songs.

Great work.

Take care.

Thanks Mate....
Being that I have Sheffield ties - hope we can put one together one day!

Epileptic Gibbon said 136 days ago
Good
stuff, as ever. And as mentioned by Feter and Rebsie, I do like that flangey guitar.

LunaTrick said 124 days ago
Thanks EG
Glad to have your ear...

Your work rocks - so this I'll take your praise!

Very smooth
This has a lovely vibe to it, with some lovely changes, and a very, very nice vocal performance. Your voice totally carries this, backed by that lovely instrumentation. Very cool. I really like the guitar sound, and the bass is spot on. Nicely done. Peace.

Very kind comments...
and very helpful. I have enjoyed your work - so this comes as a pleasant surprise.

Eternal Moment
Love this! Awesome vocals - both your lead and the backgrounds. Very cool sounds here. The bass and guitar are just awesome. I love the small pauses, letting it all sink in, building anticipation. And the production is killer. Welcome back with a great tune!

cool for the chance to hear
i agree there is a Bowie element or influence here. all good.
great tune and nicely played out.

Vic...
Although I'm a big DB fan - I wasn't trying to emulate him hear - but the comparison is always enjoyed if not deserved!

biba_nova said 131 days ago
Very nice
Don't think its bowie-ish at all myself
I would place it in a different sonic arena all together
Closer to tuxM and the associates to my ears
nice one

Cheers Bryn...
Perhaps a bit poppy for TuxMoon but I appreciate the inference! Just listening to them the other day... and thinking... hmm.. wouldn't mind doing something similar!

Alannah said 124 days ago
Very nice ....
.. I am also hearing a little remnant of the (Moorlandt) vocal stylings in this one ... he also gets the Bowie comparisons ... I like the slightly (left notage) .. is notage a word????? But Im sure you know what I am talking about ..... good one Pookey ! You know .. there is "almost" a Brian Ferry thing there too for me ... ya know Roxy Music .... hmmmmm .... p.s. nice jibblies
