Powerful post, Kenta I'm afraid I soon ran out of energy giving long comments :) so this will be shorter. A very dark, sad mood here. I hear some clipping at the bottom end (although it may be just that my headphones are freaking out!), but otherwise no production nits at all. I was kind of waiting for some lighter, wistful moments to come in, and was pleased to hear a drop in volume/"busyness" around 5:30. To me, the sounds you used seem more synthy than I would have expected on this, which is really more of an orchestral piece. I've been working with the Orchestral Jam Pack instruments lately, and know how difficult it can be to get the sounds to work the way you want them. I especially like the way you've used percussion in this. Overall, not a "fun" listen, but moving and deep. Cheers, Neil |
