Description another of Mr Einarus's compositions. I remastered the aiff in ChannelStrip and it sounds really nice now.

The original mix is still posted...you hear the difference in the software instruments more than the real guitar sound...but it adds a sparkle and fullness that I really like.

I am no audio expert, but i think the 89 bucks i spent for the GB version of ChannelStrip might be the single best bit of software i've purchased or used for recording. It adds the final dimension that GB lacks....the little finishing sparkle. I love it.

A beautiful epic track full of energy. Great use of delay and reverb in the production. Love to listen to the walls of sound with headphones :-) Bravo!!!

Ok Mr Ziti...
I have a third profession for you... let's see:

1) Music performer
2) Graphic Artist
3) Music re-masterer

This is wonderful and you did a great job!

I'm
knocked out by your sound and your phrasing- I envy your ability to use a whammy bar that stays in tune!

ziti said 149 days ago
the PRS
wammy system has allowed me to explore the wammy as more than a sound effect gimmicky thing...you can use it to create downward bends, like a slide guitar sliding off a note...it's really expressive.

i am envious of all the other stuff YOU do on the guitar..

Oooh -
- this is ridiculously good! great playing and - as you say - a fantastically rich sound: smooth, but edgy at the same time. I love it!

Cool and Hot
This is an excellent collaboration between two of my favorite MacJammers. You guys have talent in spades. The thing that intrigues me here is the juxtaposition of Einar's "cool" sound and your more intense, "hot" guitar playing. Works fantastically well!

Hey
Good sign. this hooks right at the first riff.

Great production, too.

DIG IT.

Sparkle
The Piano particularly sparkles. Great job on the mix. I think ChannelStrip belongs on my wish list :)

Thanks

Was I thrilled
when I saw that you had already posted this remastered track..! I was thinking about it on my way home from work, little knowing I could listen to it in just a couple of hours.

And yes, it does sound "fuller" and yet still "airy" and then 97 tremendous adjectives on top of that. On the other hand this is a song on a level where I personally feel that a little tweaking here and there does not mean THAT much. It's so great that it lives it's own beautiful life in my head already, so to speak. And now there are some details I hadn't noticed before which almost feels a bit irritating. Luckily just almost ;-)

Well, I can only say kudos and deepest bow to both of you and... a certain fav and download! Just love it!

I'd forgotten this one...
It sounds great in this incarnation... Great playing from you, and great compositional chops from Einarus...

You'll have to let me know some of your secret Channelstrip GB settings...

powerful
The way you put your guitar plying on Einarus's groovin' tracks works like butter on bread. Pure delight!

Impressive production. I will have to look closer at that ChannelStrip thing...

Beautiful mood and marvelous performances from both of you... I really love the way you handle that axe Ziti.

Cool
As good as this sounds Fran, I think you'd get even more out of it with Ozone 3 - I suspect it would lift the "sparkle factor" significantly.

Lovely playing - nice collab.

Nice guitar work
You definitely pulled this off. Nice guitar work and the background music is superb.

One in a million
That what this one is Ziti. A very expressive track that take the listener on a little trip to the Edge. Some very cool mixing and playing on this track my friend. Love what you do on that guitar, especially the slides.

All the sounds and instruments have a full rich sound you don't often hear out of GB. I may have to look into getting that ChannelStrip program for GB too.

Thank for sharing this one.

Ooh yeh
So cool. So smooth. Love the intro. Hooked me in really quick. The backing is subtle but very moody. Love this.
