Expectation confirmed
First Class song!
More than everything, I enjoyed the vocals and, of course, organ work.Which one is that?

Watchman
Totally cool track. Kind of a post-funk Chili Peppers prog psychedelic feel that is so diggable. Kind of roomy sound , tho, as if it was recorded in a smallish room (in my studio speakers), which kind of adds to the claustrophobic feel of the concept, yet kind of sounds less present than your previous album. Doing something different? Also, consider a lead solo instrument in the instrumental section, as the world is ending, cuz it sounded (in my ears) like this is where the photo collage happens in the music video - but no video. (I also imagined a collage of sound effects, like radio noises, clips, etc. But I'd prefer a lead, at least in the beginning, that could blend into the chaos towards the end.)

Could be a song in the upcoming Watchman film.

Captain Obvious
very cool music - yes, Chili Peppers feel, although I also went all the way back to Magical Mystery Tour - I know, a stretch - but still......

Nice
Hmm... I don't hear the Red Hots. This a good song. Has a lot of intense energy. I think it would sound great live. its a great songs that has a little progressive rock element and a contemporary vibe as well. Very unique. I'll check the myspace page too.

ian's mission
ian's secret mission, i think, is to someday be in every band, everywhere! great job on your parts, ian! same with all the guitars, actually. the organ player did some really cool stuff - made this track stand out from the norm. although, this sounds like it was through a leslie - which could easily be mic'd to sound at least a little more stereo... just a taste thing, though. and (again with the taste) the organist did some pentatonic minor 'noodling' (for lack of a better term) in the verse that i didn't particularly care for. meh, but i'm pretty strange.

new paragraph for the vocals. i totally dig the sound of this guy's voice! don't know who to compare him to... and don't care to. he is what he is. whole track is cool. (i know, 'thanks, captain obvious' :)

Very cool
I'm a sucker for a Hammond sound, and you just don't hear enough of that these days. I hear Beatles as much as anything here. Love the funk feel as well. There's something in the mix that's not quite what I want to hear, but I can't put my finger on what it is. Maybe it's the keyboard in the middle, maybe the big spread - who knows.

The drums are amazingly good, and I like the vocals too. Bass seems strangely undefined on phones - maybe a little more crispness would help.

A really good post despite my uncertain nits.
