No bad =) I enjoyed the song and the interplay between the lead guitars. I love the blues and I'm glad to see them up on MJ. You have wonderful voice. Bet you turned some ladies heads with it. =) Nice keyboards also. |

Ed... I think in your able hands a Costco kids guitar would sound like a Gibson Les Paul Custom in the Capital Records "echo chamber" studio! You simply have the touch! This is really extremely nice and so very tight! Your vocals again are simply perfect for the style. Loved every second of this! |

Back to Chicago Came back to listen to this fantastic track here on MJ, too. Great rendition - awesome organ and guitar-playing, excellent performance, wonderful singing Ed!!! |

This is the good stuff. This is some of the best Chicago style blues I have heard in a long time. There might be a touch to much reverb or delay on the main vocal (personal taste). The acoustic guitar sounds great. It sounds like its panned right at first and then on the last runs it sounds panned left. Was that on purpose? I can see where it might bury the really cool organ if it were panned right on those incredible passes. It really doesn't sound like it is the only guitar you used, however it's the only one listed. Great song and mix Ed, sometimes the best stuff comes out of a simple experiments and this awesome. |

Love Those... *near octave* pulls in here, Ed. They give it a cool, edgy sort of sound. Lots of other nice licks in here, too. I did have some trouble detecting the acoustic in the mix, but that might be because I'm currently listening on a bookshelf stereo system. But I dig the old blues vibe. Nicely done, my friend. ;) --- Joe |

I have to ask Ed .. .. what's you and what's loops? - there are some familiar bits on the keys, and I think also on some of the guitar. Really hard to comment on the performance without that bit of information. I like the way this one sounds though, and your voice sounds good too. Cheers, Neil |

Whassup, dere? As dey say in Cheecawgo, you got da beat like dey play it over by dere by the old New Checkerboard Lounge, Chicago B.L.U.E.S., and da Kingston Minesss. Yes, dat's da reel ting, ant I miss it up dere, my frient. Nice electric lead licks, and the new Yamaha's parts sound clear as a bell. Nicely played and produced. |

Nice Throw That is, to throw some blues together in a nice way. Fine mix with all the instruments finding their place. Nice chops as well with a hint of jazz and rock. Fine piece all around. |

Great Great organ and guitar blues. A real authentic blues sound to these UK ears at least. I was in a blues house in Chicago in 1992. There was a blizard outside but it was hot and sizzling in that small room. With a little less reverb on the vocal I'd be right back there. A small nit pick, but with your voice I don't think you need to over dress it with reverb - it's great already! All the best Steve |

YES!!! Beale Street!!! AWESOME BB King reference! I can't play the blues to save my life, but this kinda blues is that special like melting pot of the best of different styles. I hear some Texas style playing, the Chicago sound of course, and there's a very very sweet smoky gin joint sound going on here. Not only is this an amazing track but the lyrical references definitely speak to a VERY deeply rooted love of the blues. Awesome stuff man. Straight to the iPod! |

I know it's about the guitars but, damn, that's a sweet B3 you got there. And a really great beat. My feet just refuse to keep tapping. Cool song. |

Someone, I think it was Mark, told me to come and listen. I didn't know what I was coming to hear. This sounds like a full live band on stage on a sultry evening. And you were having a good time, all of you. Nice blues. Real nice. Thank you. |

Great blues all around!
