Unbelievable This is a ridiculous tune. After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor Winston Churchill, wearied from holding off Nazi air raids, was quoted as saying, "Being saturated and satiated with emotion and sensation, I went to bed and slept the sleep of the saved and thankful". That's pretty much the only way to effectively express how much I love this song. No shit. |

Yeah it's a good listen in the 'phones as well if you want to hear everything. I like it loud though through the open air - those giant bass drums during the post chorus build in particular hit you right in the chest |

Nobody Knows Great collab. Nice simple chord progression with all kinds of guitar funny stuff going on in back, not what I expected. Love the vocals and great lyrics. Thanks, Russ |

holy crap. your lips are flaming! ok, whoever played the flat fifth in my left speaker (ebow?) in the verse resolving to the fifth is an absolute genius. bravo!! this whole song is fantastic. let me point out some of the subtleties that i liked. great vocal performance, ridd. very relaxed. i like that you took your time (just enough time) getting to the notes. mix is cool. you have a stereo sounding patch on the bass (if i'm not mistaken) and its working for me. normally i am a staunch mono, down the middle bass guy. 'worlds are colliding, jerry!' great harmonies too. is that michael doing the low octive in the 2nd verse? nice! like the sesame street mic! i think, ridd, those harmonies you used in the intro could be used in the choruses too. maybe? not the first one, obviously, but the latter ones. regardless, great job - both of you! |

hey i love how this turned out. you mixed this so well it's unbelievable. too bad for you, as from now on you will be mixing everything I record (kind of like my own in house guy). this was a blast for me, I think we really get each other and came from the same background. this was easy, easy, easy for me. any excuse to make noise. if anyone is wondering why the guitar sounds that way: i tuned the top 3 strings to a B and then played them all at once with a slide and some fuzz. not that you'd want to do it, just letting you know so you don't do it accidentally or something. great job writing and mixing this little jewel. |

Sweet Great hook here. I'm a sucker for feedback and really enjoy when it kicks in. This track is so well produced. The Oasis is obvious but I also here a little Blur in there. Some of the harmonies are straight up beatles. What a tasteful production and tight arrangements! Your acoustic sounds amazingly crisp! What a great performance from you guys. |

Nobody knows A fine stylish song. Intense - excellently written and arranged, a treat. And it rocks definitely. I like the guitar-soundcolors and the amazing vocals, a great collaboration, bravi!!! |

Oasis/Blur/Beatles 4 sure There's an almost imperceptibly slightly late kick "event" at 0:59 - how sad is it that that's all I can find to nitpick over! ;) I've never been a big Oasis fan (partly because of their attitude), but I loved Blur and the Beatles. A very good post - must have been a blast to do. Neil :) |

British Rock Sound! :D Nice work here. I really enjoy how the song flows with the vocals and has a laid back feel to it- has that British rock sound to it for sure! Many people here try vocals and they don't fit but this works perfect! The guitars are great in it too! Anyways I look forward to your future works and keep up the great work here! Cheers! :D |

I agree with jiguma I have always thought that Oasis were 3rd rate hacks. When I still lived in England a few yrs back, it amused me no end when I was a cover band call 'No Way Sis' play live. They got the look, attitude and sound of Oasis perfectly but their best songs were covers of Blur tunes. Anyway...I can understand the Oasis comparisons here, but this track is in a totally different league to anything the Gallagher's ever did or ever will do Nice writing, playing, sing and mixing Bravo! |

Nice Tune! Great song and excellent production. Has that English Manchester sound (at least, I think it is) of Blur and Oasis, but it also stands on its own. One of my favorite parts is the clean, twangy guitar in the first verse. All of the guitar work is top-notch. Lots of different sounds and it all fits nicely in the music. Lots of stuff going on in here and you guys totally pull it of. Props to you and GB '08!! |

Well... supergroup comes to mind. This is superb. My very first thoughts were of The Everly Brothers but, of course, they influenced The Beatles who influenced Oasis. Anyway, I put this song and the deliverance of it up there with them. I am going to download this masterpiece. Cheers Len |

excellent tag team well I'm listening but I hear both of your guy's styles here. so that's a good thing. Forget the Oasis comparison. This has it's own sound and everything gels really well. awesome work guys! |

You guys There is so much talent beteen the both of you guys If I had to say there are greats among MJs it would be the 2 of you. You know sometimes when I paint. I set my ipod to rsorensen or Micheal2 and just listen. Sorry I know there has been alot of talk about being critical about commenting but I cant find nothing wrong. great song! |

Forget Criticism Where's the groupie sign-up sheet? Seriously, I demand a band come out of all this. You guys are made to play together. |
![]() | cjdaley said 163 days ago |

it happened!!! I already liked the song you made out of a michael 2 track and this is the logical next step, and the macjams collab everyone was waiting for. You guys were made to be in band together, as this is obvious listening to this. One can recognize your personal signatures, but they still blend perfectly. classic in every sense of the term. |

Gravity Won't Stop Us Now Super impressive work guys. Absolutely perfect in every way. I can't help but hear the Flaming Lips poke thru the bottom of this, shooting confetti cannons. You guys are masterful songwriters and make it look so organic and simple. I think I've downloaded it at least 3 times. Bob |

Dang Mr. Sorensen... I could swear I faved and commented already but I don't see it... Guess I'm getting even older!!! Crap... This is a great collab work! The music sound bed is very Oasis like and yet has your personal touches. Of course with Micheal anywhere near the vox it is bound to be great! Well hey your music is great anyway! Nicely done! |

Great stuff Lovely melodic track, and great vocal performances. The harmonies and backing vocals work perfectly. The instrumentation is layered and inventive, but never overwhelming or cluttered. Some lovely touches (like the melody echoed by the backing vocals after the lines on the third and fourth verses) that really give it a unique feel. Wonderful collab, and I sincerely hope we get to hear more of the two of you together. Nicely done, gents. Kudos. Peace. |

Wow Wow and WOW again! Would like to add in regards to both of you not getting a record deal: what the hell do record labels know anyways. Look at the crap they are putting out. More about the artist than the music. This is what it's all about! Simply brilliant! |
