Description It seems like compositions such as this one come in waves. I don't often (enough) think of the heroes who put their lives on the line for my safety, but I do appreciate that MY safety comes at the expense of men and women who are courageous and self-giving. This "Hymn To The Fallen" is for them. Musical Wings
That's what this beautiful composition really amounts to... musical wings that gently lift --- and elevate --- The Fallen.

You have a singular talent for capturing your feelings and transmuting them into music that evokes the same in the listener, Paul. It is a remarkable ability that I both admire and envy.

While I have recognized several here who I believe are on the path to true artistry, I am inclined to think you arrived at that destination some time ago. Kudos to you, my friend. ;)

	great moving piece! sad but optimistic. i dig it! you achieved a very real sound! love the flute section at about the halfway point. the french horn is hitting all the right notes, nicely panned to the side. exceptional writing. very cinematic. (i mean that as a compliment.)

	Stunningly beautiful. As I listened to this, I felt my entire body relax. I've had a hectic past few days and hadn't realised the toll they'd taken on me. This was such a beautiful track it just made me stop and think. A wonderful way to pay tribute to those who are missed.
