I am so glad I wandered into the jazz room at the Castle. I need some grog on the rocks and a cigar. |

The Order In This Court Is... More wine... more wenches... and more of this JAZZY music. This is really some sweet stuff, Henri. A very warm and intimate recording with a terrific feel. Thank you. I feel better now and almost ready to be *crowned* again. ;) --- Joe |

great writing love the chords. a nice clean piano tone allows the listener to savour those notes, those dissonances which nicely resolve themselves with the next part of the progression. well done. the only thing i might do different is, perhaps, make the stereo image of the piano less wide and add some room verb. make sound less like one's head is leaning over the piano, listening... more like you are in the audience at a smallish venue. that's purely a matter of personal taste, though. and maybe my perception is skewed as i am listening through phones right now. bit of clipping at 2:25. great playing. thanks for sharing! |

This is a beautifully written and performed tune.Ellington really was a genius. You have absorbed a lot of jazz history which is the mark of a great jazz musician.I'm sure this would pleasure the Duke. How about one for the Count? |

I'm not .. .. very knowledgeable in the genre, but this sounds pretty cool to me Henri. I can feel this filling out with bass and drums and being a real late night club tune. Trs bien! Neil |
