You knew I'd love this one True. E. Smith meets G. Harrison. Really great tune. Awesome lyrically and very brilliantly put together. All Right! Dave |

Beautiful Tune Nicely arraigned and sung, marimbas a good touch, mix sounds a little edgier than your others. Totally agree with your assertion. You rule this genre. Regards |

It generates deep feeling Micheal. Sung from the heart and the emotion comes through nicely! Great work on all the instruments too! Really a wonderful tune! |

Sack And pillage away if it produces this kind of song! Hope your client hears this, it really reaches out. Thanks Bill |

Best thing I've heard you post here. The recording is huge and pro. Love how the vocals and guitar intertwine in the end. And when you sing "friend" it really does channel E. Smith. But that picture is heartbreaking. |

Sad... Great work my friend, fine guitar playing and as always, the singing at its best. One of your best picks Sir. I'm sorry about your friend, hope he'll have some better days in the future. Great work and dedication! Take Care - Yeman A. Al-Rawi |

great heartbreaking subject matter. Done very well, not preachy - which is a difficult task itself. If you're going to pillage, Elliot and George are the some of the finest to pillage. That being said, I think the song still has a unique Michael2 element that makes it your song and not just a template. Great job! |

enough One of my best friends does the admirable work you do, and laments that almost to a one, all the heartbreaking cases she deals with stems from truly cruel family life. I hope your friend can find his way clear and the inner strength to push on through. Great song. As always :-) |

Have You Had Enough what a sad story Michael - thanks for the background on this - it makes your song all the more excellent in what it conveys. Please continue your pillaging! |

Lovely song Michael I can empathise with your position re this young guy - too many kids seem to fall victim to/in our society. On the positive side, some who are definitely heading this way seem to come through the other side without as much damage as we might expect. I always look for the good side because there are so many examples of the other. Musically, I love this. The way you channel George and some of the other Beatles is uncanny. You don't just SOUND like them, you take on all the little nuances to FEEL like them as well (just check your bank account to see if you ARE George will you). Top shelf! Neil |

Interesting tribute I've never been one to believe that things are random. There is a reason he is in your life and a reason his life is the way it is. It means a lot to someone displaced from society to know they have someone. |

Sweet Very nice stuff here man. Very pro and I really enjoyed it. Reminded me a bit of Crowded house too. Tragic tribute but very well executed. Well done! |

I can hear some echoes... ...of Chris Bell era Big Star in this, including the acoustic against the slide and the vocals... The song is solid and effective, and it's got a good heart to it, which matters in my book... Ed |

thanks for this one... my admiration is very high for you doing the work you do. I know it must be very frustrating to know that a person needs special care and not be able to offer it. just know you've probably had a positive influence in his life and that your friendship and unconditional support is going teach him something of the world he might not have otherwise seen. the rest is going to be up to him. this song is a real gift to me. keep it up! |

It's a sad reading my dear friend I agree he should have help not prison.
Some times I don't understand what's going on in our so could PEACE all OVER the WORLD thinking when we can't help people who really suffer... Hey what a democracy we live in..... OKAY back to song.. This sure touch deep in my heart very lovely done my friend.
Take care
