Beautiful song Feter And Roxy adds another dimension to it. Love the music and you did great on the vocal. And to top it all off, there was the poem you read at the end with the music playing so softly in the background. Roxy thank you for coming together with Feter to make this wonderful work. wow Feter, you wrote a couple of very nice pieces of music here, and your singing and reciting are soulful, as always. Clean crisp recordings! Roxylee, I usually run out of superlatives with you, really beautiful singing and choice of harmonies... but something else catches my ear here... I hear a LOT of work behind the scenes... this feels very polished, like somebody worked hard to transition between two different pieces, and pulled it off really well... that connecting music is always hard to do, and often un-noticed (unless anybody's tried doing that.) Very good mixing too, I don't hear anything offhand that I'd change... Feter's voice is very rich and boomy, and you seem to have tamed it pretty well in the mix, it is clear. Mix Good song, charming performance. Ok, I've rearranged my music room last night, so there could be something wrong with the setup. On the other hand, I have quite expensive monitors, and I've been listening to them for a bit today..... Your mix is very boomy! I would cut a whole bunch of midrange frequencies to make it more transparent. Roll off the low on all those guitars, and put a real bass part under it. |
