Description I wrote this piece in 2002 as an A level composition project. It also has a Fugue which i am going to upload when I can find the recording. I recorded this in the Prince Michael Hall at Dean Close in 2003. Someone once said that when they heard it they had images of a frozen lake with an ice palace across it. I hope you enjoy it.

Awww
Aww thanks Yeman,

You are too kind. I shall have to write some more! I haven't written for a while but there is one song for piano which I have still to complete. I started it last year when I was living in Valencia. It's nice to meet such apreciative people. Where I live people in my town have never really apreiated my music except for Caroline and my mother!

Thanks Michael
Music has always been my passion but I have never been in such a creative, apreciative and colaborative community as macjams. Your encouragement is greatly apreciated.

Very romantic...
It does have a crystal-blue feel of water... must be all those arpeggios rippling across the keyboard. Really beautiful simple, elegant composition, and beautifully played. Faved. And where's the fugue? You wrote a fugue? Sigh. I will wait patiently :-)

Prelude
I think the frozen Ice Palace is perfect imagery for this piece. It's beautiful - and played beautifully as well. You are very talented young man - keep them coming, I'm loving everything I hear! Cant' wait to hear the Fugue that goes with this.

My pleasure
My absolute pleasure, I love to make people happy with my music. I've been given such a lot by people in life i feel that I can give it back by making people happy with music. In this world too many people waste their talents. If we use them life takes on a different slant altogether xox

Thank you my friend
It's so nice to hear such lovely comments. I was saying to someone ealier that the town where i live is very artistic but also very snobby and clicky so my music doesnt get heard or apreciated much here so i am so touched by your comments here on macjams. Thank you.

Very Well Done
A very beautiful composition, well played and well recorded.

I like the sound you got playing in the hall. Adds to the breadth of the piece.

Prelude
The hall I played it in is absolutely beautiful. It has a beautiful stained glass windows of musical instruments. It really is magical to play there.

Beautiful piece
I enjoyed this a lot. The chord changes remind me some of Schumann's Kinderszenen, but it has an originality to it as well. Very nice composition.

Prelude
Thank you very much. I know the Schumann's Kinderszenen and it is a great compliment to have one of my pieces compared to a great work like that. Bless you.

A lost Schuman!
A perfect romantic gem. I'll be curious to hear the fugue that goes with it.

I loved the playing-
and then when I read that you also wrote this piece, I was completely awed. You have real talent! Thank you for sharing this beautiful song.

Aww thank you very much. If you like this you might also like my Andalusian Vision which is also in my uploads. Thank you again.

This is...
...a very pretty, flowing composition for piano...very Schumannesque and yet uniquely yours. I hope you will begin writing more and posting your work here. You obviously have enormous writing and performing talent and it is such a pleasure to hear it. As I said about your Andalusian piece, it is so nice to hear a "classical" composer posting music to this site. More, please.
Peace.
