Nice sounds!
The main melody reminds me a bit of Scottish Highland rockers RUNRIG. (If you don't know them, that's a real compliment...)

I'll try to check out some of your other tunes soon. Welcome to MJ man!

Be well!

Thanks for joining in!
Enjoyed the tune, Eddie! especially liked the nice, crunchy bass line. Welcome to MJ!

yah yah yah...
But it needs a cool Synth & guitar alternating lead across it, either that or some enigmatic lyrics with Ric Ocasek singing on it. I like this... your bass is lagging slightly sometimes, you should be able to slide it forward a little to get rid of the latency of playing along. Dang you have some cool music up your sleeve there Eddie!

Yeah... where IS New Wave?
I was searching for it when I posted Mars Needs Ducks. Sometimes 'Electropop' just doesn't quite do it.

Love the bass banging away against the cabinets, and those delicious keys are right out of my college days. Drak's idea about Ric Ocasic lyrics is spot-on, but as long as the singer wears really big, opaque shades it'll probably turn out right. Tasty piece of music!

Cool!
Nice stuff, cool choice of sounds and well placed and mixed. Very nice music composition my friend.. Glad I didn't miss it!

Totally New Wave
Oh, I really enjoyed this. Definitely has that Scottish New Wave vibe and I agree that this would be a great bed for some manly vocals. What a great entry to the challenge. I think the bass line is terrific, although to my ears it sounds as though it's peaking and could benefit from being turned down a bit or some judiciuos EQing, although it may be too late. It doesn't spoil this very enjoyable song that took me right back to my teens. (Love the song art!) Totally awesome!

popcorn...
add some lyrics and find someone to sing them....cut the bass a little...shake it up (dance all night, sleep all day, don't let nothin' get in the way), add a splash of pastel shirt and tie, a pinch of valley girl attitude, a hint of Pat Benatar's "Love is a Battlefield" chutzpah, and serve chilled, with a hefty side order of a Flock of Seagulls... like toe-tally dude!

Very cool
This is great stuff. I like the keyboard sound, and the melody is addictive. There's a nice sense of rhythm and movement throughout, and a very cool drum sound. Bass sounds good, too, if a little forward in the mix sometimes. Nicely done. Peace.

Cough cough...
Lots of dust up here in the Eddie Fliess song attic! But these need to be preserved and brought forth!!! This is great!

Thanks Eddie!
